I like the stuff they sell, it’s a bit pricey but they’re in my neighborhood so I like to shop there. The staff is friendly, however I bought a shirt and tried to return it with the receipt the next day. I just had a baby so things fit a bit differently, and it’s tough to try things on because the baby is always strapped to me. Anyway, I was dismayed because they only do exchanges or store credit. I ended up exchanging for a dress which is ok, I would have preferred my money back. If you buy something here make sure you really like it!

Quaint little shop right in the Garden District. I couldn’t tell what the theme was other than eccentricities — it had clothing, art, and other knick knacks. Of interest was a small gallery in the back showcasing a local artist who does eclectic water colors of local spots in New Orleans. My fiancé and I enjoyed the prints so we ended up buying one and getting directions to the Arts Market on Frenchman Street to see if we could find more. Prices weren’t too bad — the art was advertised at the same prices at the market so I didn’t feel gipped. Swing by — you may find something you like!

The guy working there was minimally polite and not really friendly. He did not reflect the shop which has a lot of cool original clothes and accessories. Great place for gifts.

Fun, low key place for clothing and local art and kitsch. Great place to spend a few minutes and maybe find something cool.

As I wandered on Magazine with friends yesterday, I discovered this new shop on a stretch of Magazine I thought I knew well. And it turns out that they have a location in the FQ. Where have I been? There’s a really cool art gallery in the back and the prints were very affordable. The staff was polite and attentive but let us browse in peace. The shop has a TON of merchandise and it’s all really interesting. My friend bought a couple of NOLA water meter trivets and I ended up with Frankenstein socks(because I have a brother how needs those). But they also had clothes and accessiories and NOLA stuff and you name it.
