Worst service ever. While i was ordering the pizza, one of the guys at the back threw a football in my face. And when i looked up nobody admitted or explained to me why he threw the ball at me.

I live less than 3 minutes away and they always deliver an hour after i place the order… I very often have to call them complaining about a raw pizza.

Ordered from them last night. Unfortunately I didn’t check the previous review about their lack of cleanliness. They must not wear hair nets because when I opened my pizza box last night, there was a very long, dark hair strewn across the length of the entire pizza. Unfortunately that didn’t deter me from removing the hair and continuing to eat it, which made my stomach incredibly upset and I suffered the consequences. I called the manager of the store, who was very nice, and he asked if I wanted to have something new made and sent to me. I said No thanks, and then he still offered to send me a voucher in the mail. I just said Thanks and ended the convo. Since the hair was not baked into the pizza, but rather draped across the top of it, I assume it fell in while the person cutting/boxing the pizza was handling it. I really, really hope that this manager had a talk with whoever slices and boxes the pizza about their hair and wearing the proper hair net. Finding a hair in your food is one of the most disgusting things and can be easily rectified with the proper hair nets. The only reason I’m not sticking them with only 1 star is because of the manager.

I have to say, this place has gone downhill. It’s still one of the cleanest Papa John’s I’ve ever been in, but when they regularly forget to put your pizza in the oven or skip your entire order, cleanliness does little to nothing for me. I used to love it when I could place an order on the way to this store and pick it up and leave as I arrived — heck, I wouldn’t even mind waiting a few minutes for it, but I’m really tired of getting there ten minutes after I order and waiting an additional twenty minutes only to find that the pizza was never made. No one wants to wait forty-five minutes for a pizza on a slow night. Service used to be great too, not anymore. Tonight I heard a manager deal with a complaint on the phone, the coworker explained to her that the woman on the phone said she only got half her food, but was still missing some. The manager seemed irritated by the customer, whom only received half the food she ordered. Not only that, tonight was a repeat of the usual, a total of thirty minutes time elapsed before they realized our pizza was never prepared. The best part was, we were offered nothing to compensate for our wait, nor did they even apologize for the wait.

9 times out of 10 you’re better off physically walking in to place an order. If not you’ll be on hold until the end of time. I’ve walked in plenty of times to place an order while still being on hold for 5 minutes. The staff is lazy because they never seem to be working when I come in. They are pretty good at sitting around and watching the phone ring. Lake Terrace needs a new pizza shop with better service ASAP.
