Food was good and the prices were inexpensive, but the service took a long time. Each meal was delivered separately with over a minute between each, so the first person to get their food was almost finished by the time the last person got their food. Further the men’s bathroom had a terrible fish like odor. I would not recommend going here and I will not be dining here again.

Nice black owned business hours aren’t consistent and they don’t have the bar up and going yet. But their gumbo, wings, and lemonade is omg good! Stay away from the pork chop plays not so good.

Loved this place the food is awesome. I’ve been a couple times and just recently took a friend there and she loved it also! It’s nice to see that the east has a good restaurant now.

I tried this restaurant for the first time with my mom on Sunday. They offer a brunch buffet on Sundays but my mom and I decided to just order something from the menu. I started with a bowl of shrimp and crab bisque and WOW it was delicious! My mom had a cup of gumbo and she was thoroughly satisfied. They even threw in a giant crab claw to top it off. For our main course we had chicken salad sandwiches. They are served on buttery, flakey, delicious croissants. All in all everything was wonderful and the service was great. Our server was very nice and welcoming. I’m so happy that this restaurant exists in New Orleans East. Drive here for a great meal, you will definitely be pleased.

Finally a restaurant with a hall to rent. They specialize in comfort foods. Got a turkey burger,!which was done up right with sweet potatoes. The other foods on the menu looked tempting but will explore on my next visit. The restaurant can accommodate large parties but not too many people. I will go back again and do more research.

Went here for lunch today and the food was so good. The East is lacking in good dining restaurants and this a hidden gem. Everything was seasoned well and tasted great. It’s categorized as soul food, but its not a soul food restaurant. They have from burgers to lobster. I will definitely be returning and going to try to make it to the Sunday Jazz Brunch
