WARNING!!! This place is across the street from Oschner baptist just about. So there will be nurses, doctors, patients, etc in here so please don’t yall about the wait time for food! I ordered a pizza with ham, bacon(the best bacon all crunchy and crispy) pepperoni and sausage. This pizza was pretty good. A nice personal size pizza for myself and very fulfilling might I add. The sauce was good and my toppings were just how I like it. I have eaten here before and I had a good meal even then. There’s also the meal of the day. The staff here is really nice and very accommodating to whatever you need. The menu has many good items as well and at 12:37 noon time they’re at least 5 people eating a breakfast meal from the menu. For larger tables the staff seems to go out their way to check up on the table and even do refills. Pretty awesome place. Parking may be an issue considering the restaurant is located inside an office building in its own suite on Napoleon Avenue. Traffic can be hectic during lunch time and 4:30 pm. Definitely check this place out.

Stopped in the other day while my hubby was having surgery at Baptist. The lady who checked me out was above and beyond. I had some card issues and she made things happen is all I will say. All in the Christmas spirit she said. WOW! I teared up. Certainly needed that on that morning. So keep it up Nola Grind. Great food, wonderful coffee and the BEST people!

Popped in here after a morning dentist appointment because I was starving and in a hurry to get back to work. I was really just expecting to be fed and on my way, but what I got was the breakfast sandwich of my dreams. Perfectly prepared and a ton of food at a great price.

This place is great! Especially for people that work in the building! It’s a coffee shop that also serves hot breakfast and lunch. They have fresh pastries, cookies, and really good cinnamon rolls. Their mushroom and Brie soup is amazing! Probably my favorite thing I’ve had so far. They have a different soup daily– chicken enchilada, baked potato, etc. I haven’t had the coffee but heard it’s good and it’s reasonably priced. The sandwiches all get good reviews from others as well. I enjoyed the ham and cheese on croissant. A good option on Napoleon if you work or live close to Ochsner Baptist!

JUSTOPENEDINTHE«TOWER» I’d estimate that 67% of all responsible adults in New Orleans have at least one physician in that lone medical mid-rise across from the old Baptist’s. Heck I have three, and as I get older I’m sure that I’ll be slinging my aging carcass all-up-in-there weekly. MOM&POP Recently, natives Kelly, Kyle and parents moved their family coffee shop from Fulton St.(the only decent café in that area) to this more appropriate location. The vibe here is so old-school that I defy anyone to approach these vivacious 20-ish entrepreneurs and not walk away enthused(especially uplifting after a colonoscopy and that horrible 36 hour fast!) FAIRPRICING Soup w/sammies are all $ 10 or less. Breakfast averages $ 8, and coffee is in the middle of comparables at $ 3 to $ 4. In sum, I’m so glad that high-quality NOLA Grind has come to this prime location(and according to my dermatologist so are the dentists, optometrists and the rest of the building!)
