I can’t say enough good things about our 6⁄4 destination wedding at the museum. Matthew, Luke, and the rest of the staff worked hard to make my small wedding feel really special and go off without a hitch. Planning everything by phone/email was nerve racking even for someone as laid back as me. It felt like having our wedding thrown by our own family but in a beautiful French Quarter courtyard. It was warm and intimate. I enjoyed the food I did get to taste, although we wish there was a bigger selection what we got for the price was exceptional. The open bar was awesome for our picky guests and they set up our cake for us and made it really stress-free(you forget about the small details when you live across the country). They also provided DJ services and the ceremony music was exactly what I asked for and the receptions songs were great(we aren’t a dancing crowd but I enjoyed the music). It was so great to have an all-inclusive package and just show up and get married. They can accommodate a wide range of size from 10 people to 100! We stayed at the Dauphine Orleans hotel which is on the same block. A lot of our guests went back and forth between the hotel and the reception and then onto the Quarter to party after. We felt really blessed to have had our wedding there and appreciate all the hard work that was put into it for us.

Recently attended my sons wedding here. Who knew right? Wedding was held in the court yard at night. Beautiful setting for an intimate gathering. Folks there were very helpful. Also one of the only venues that offer a covering if there is rain. Reception was held there also. Great location, great staff, and a great experience!

Interesting but not really very informational. The placards on the wall provide the exact same information as the audio feeds on the two tv screens — I mean word for word. It is clear that the initial impression that the Irish did not have a profound affect in the development and history if New Orleans sea to be well founded and supported by this museum. The upside, it’s free.

Went by today, only to find a «CLOSED» sign on the door. A guy had just locked the door and though he saw me walk up to the building, started his truck and drove away. Pretty rotten.
