This is the place to go for Burgundy, Champagne, Burgundy, Rhones, Burgundy, other old world wines and Burgundy. After a lifetime pursuit of the best in wine, Ric Hopper’s palate has passed over into the Elysian Fields where the only wine is Burgundy. His tenure there has limited his ability to comprehend the fixations of mortal palates, but he is still capable of recognizing what pleases and keeping an excellent selection available. In short, it is rather difficult to find a wine here that is not above average. I have been buying wine here regularly for several years and have watched the quality and selection continue to rise steadily. I visit wine stores everywhere I travel and I have never seen any store where the novice is more likely to pick any wine and be happy with it. Most of the wines here are fairly traditional, quality wines that represent a value ranging from modest to significant. There are no over-hyped cult wines or wines from quirky winemakers going against the grain. You can look at California wines here, but you really should do yourself a favor and check out the old world selection.

Hopper has achieved some sort of super human wine knowledge that rocks my world… and I would assume yours as well. His store is a hyper concentration of amazing wine with none of the filler bottles that plague so many stores. Price range is anywhere from 10 to whatever you can afford and if you ask Hopper for a little advice he will not disappoint. Specifically this is the best place for excellent Burgundy but I’ve found everything else to be equally delicious and fairly priced. It is a little difficult to find as it is part of the this big two story shopping complex but venture in there and you will be happy you did.
