I was really excited to go to this event — not only to see some of my favorite Unilocalers, but because I was really excited to learn more about Good Eggs. I bought my ticket early(it was only $ 5), and went there straight from work. At the event, we were welcomed with watermelon mojitos, a taco bar, music, and lovely swag bags. As one of the first 10 to check in, I received a lovely mint plant and a Good Eggs reusable bag(nice and sturdy). The building itself has been repurposed, and is beautiful and organized on the inside. The tacos were made with ingredients that you can purchase through the Good Eggs site, to be delivered or to be picked up at one of their various sites around town. Blackened catfish, grassfed beef, or this great seasoned tofu were the proteins for the tacos. Fresh ingredients, pickled slaw, flavorful guacamole, and cheeses complimented the proteins. The hosts of the event let us know about their offerings. I think you only have to spend $ 25 to get free delivery. The items sold are fresh and local, so it’s an easy way to support local business. Looking forward to giving them a try! Shout out to Morgan for a great event! Awesome people, a good time, and a photo opp at the end. Complete with sombreros.

I wasn’t sure what to expect with this event, but it was really fun to wander around the Good Eggs warehouse. It’s a great renovation of a old brick warehouse. Anyway, the party was really fun! Morgan was mixing up yummy watermelon or strawberry rum cocktails(thanks Rougaroux!) and the Good Eggs folks were serving up yummy taco fixings with beef, catfish or tofu offerings. The topping bar was awesome. There was also locally made chips and salsa. We got to learn about their service and their local partners while listening to salsa and watching a little boy break dance. Seriously there were 2 little boys dancing up a storm, break dancing, interpretive ballet, whatever, and it was awesome. Great snacks, good drinks and awesome company!
