The Dragon Master Showcase sets up in the French Quarter. We happened to be in the area and got good center seating but waited a good while before they actually started their show. Nevertheless, they keep the audience entertained while the seating filled up a bit more. For the most part, they’re pretty funny but I did feel uncomfortable being there with my mom and my nephew since there were a lot of racist and sexual jokes. Still a great show for no charge(except for the $ 5 tip we gave).

Not a fan of the French Quarter, but while crossing we got to watch the crew’s entire show. An unexpected and free(but totally worth the $ 5 – 10 suggested donation) treat. Sharp moves and real showmen’s presentation. Down side: Show is on. a busy street with limited space.

agreed! we hung around to see these guys today and were Blown Away. for $ 5 or $ 10, they are one of the best shows I could imagine. Humor is a little off color but very very funny.

If you’re walking down Decatur Street and see four guys wearing matching warm up pants and sleeveless undershirts, do yourself a favor and find a seat on the steps that face St. Louis Cathedral. Their show centers on breakdancing and acrobatics but is rounded out with a healthy dose of comedy and reminders that they work for tips. So sit down, enjoy the show and if you liked it — break out your $ 5’s and $ 10’s and do your part keep these guys out of the the po’ house and yo’ house.
