Great place for lunch or drinks afterwork! Love the staff and the new friends I meet in there daily! The manager really listens to the guests and does her best to accommodate us! Thanks!!!

Good lunch spot for downtown or before a game and great for stopping for a drink on the way to a game.

This bar is awesome especially because I live across the street :). The food is solid(only open for lunch now), the drinks are strong and incredibly well priced especially during happy hour, and the staff is quite AWESOME. Just moved to NOLA from DC and this is just the kind of place I was hoping to find. Great place to catch a Saints game. Special shout out to Josh and Eddie– couple of expert bartenders! Only request is to get more Grand Marnier please ;).

My favorite bar ever, but maybe I’m biased because I live across the street and this place has basically become and extension of my living room. The drinks are cheap, the food is pretty decent bar food(only served during lunch hours M-F for now) and the bartenders are laid back and awesome. It’s usually pretty empty here and that’s what I love most! I can sit at the bar in peace and watch a game on TV. This is a great neighborhood bar!

This is one of my coworkers favorite lunch spots so I occasionally end up here. The food is decent. The first time I ate here I got the alligator sausage poboy which was pretty good and the red beans and rice are worth trying(particularly for the grilled sausage that tops it). So why 2 stars? The service is terrible! The last time I was here it was pretty empty but it took forever to get our food, we never got refills, and it took over 20 min after everyone was done eating to get the check. I honestly don’t think I’ll be back I just cant afford to take an hour and half for lunch during the work week for a place like this.

Terrible BBQ Chicken Sandwich. Huge chunk of cheese that’s crumbling(not melting). Must’ve been frozen. Bread is also breaking apart. Fries are good, that’s about it

Holy happy hour! Half off drinks from 4 – 7!!! We got a bloody mary, vodka tonic, 2 beers and 2 whiskeys for $ 12. TWELVE. I’ve never understood how a bar makes a profit when they willingly charge nothing for alcohol! I live around the block from Ditcharo’s and it took me 2 years before stopping in — oh how I’ve missed out! The outdoor seating under the fans are wonderful. Inside the bar is clean with plenty of seating. Our bartender was very friendly and attentive. Didn’t get to try the food, but who needs to eat when you can drink your calories?

If you’re looking for a great corner bar with more than typical bar food then head to Ditcharos! Perfect atmosphere, poboys and bloody Mary excellent, menu with burgers, seafood and plate lunches. Easy walk to Dome or Quarter. Thanks Dan for your incredible hospitality!

We were with local friends and went to the bar with them. They were playing great music and everyone was having so much fun! The bartenders were in a great mood and so were the customers! Great place!

Ordinarily I wouldn’t come here for food, but we were blocked off by parades on the sides that have better food options. Ditcharo had a limited menu for Mardi Gras which was fine for us. We ordered two burgers, fries and a couple beers. Our burgers arrived in less than 5 minutes. They were probably already prepared, but who cares when you’re starving. I wouldn’t eat here again unless the circumstances were the same. That said though we ended up here the next day for some cheap drinks and a place to gab.

I’m not really sure why Ditcharo’s v2.0 closed, but they had a good menu, good food, and good friendly service. As a lunch place in the CBD, they were kind of a staple of the folks in my office. Great location, too. Oh well. *sigh* The CBD is kind of hurting for places like this. They were closed for a long time, now they have opened as Ditcharo v3.0(see my review). Hey, I didn’t make 2 entries for the same locale, Unilocal did. :P
