Benjamin was FANTASTIC to work with. My fiancé was looking to buy a suite for our wedding and he was soo helpful. He was very professional and well mannered. Me and my fiancé are not fancy people and he made us feel so comfortable and welcomed there. I can’t say enough how great he made our experience at Brooks Brothers. I would definitely recommend shopping at Brooks Brother’s because their customer service is awesome! If you go ask for Benjamin!

My fiancé (now husband) and I walked into Brooks Brothers after a frustrating day of suit shopping for our wedding day. We are not very fashion forward, but we both wanted to look our best. We had already been written off at several other places around the CBD (people looked at us like we were too poor to even be in their store) and decided to give one more shop a try. Harrison gave us an excellent experience while shopping! After trying on several pairs of pants and picking out shirts and ties, my husband decided on a sportcoat/​slacks combo over a traditional suit and looked very handsome on our special day.

This is one of the best Brooks Brothers stores in the U.S.A. and they have some unique New Orleans items. If you find yourself needing a tie in Carnival colors then this store can provide you with a nice selection. I’ve always found the staff here to be extremely helpful (sometimes to the point of overkill). I generally prefer to get most of my Brooks Brothers clothing at a significantly reduced price at their outlet stores (hooray we finally got an outlet in Gonzales) but some unique NOLA items are only available at this store. I’ve always found the quality and fit of most Brooks Brothers items to be among the best quality. If they would have outfitted both Southern and Northern officers during the War of Northern Aggression then I would give them Five Stars but I have to hold a slight grudge (and star) against them for only outfitting dirty Yankees.

So much as been said about Brooks Brothers online that I hardly need to add more other than to say that this is the classic American clothier. Its been around since the early 19th century and has dressed everyone from US Presidents to the Union Army during the Civil War. They invented the off-​the-​rack men’s suit and the button down collar dress shirt. They are the standard in men’s business dress and should be one of your first stops when looking to dress professionally.
The New Orleans location was recently renovated and is much more spacious and has a lot better selection than the old one did. The service here is also top notch. I’ve had multiple wonderful experiences working with Ben. He’s very knowledgeable and helpful.
The clothes here are a bit more expensive than at stores like J Crew and Banana Republic, but the quality is vastly better and will last a lot longer (I’ve owned items from all of these stores).

The staff here are amazingly friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. I went in to buy a last minute replacement Tails shirt, and the lovely young lady helping me had several sizes readied for me to try on. The shirt was of an impeccably high quality as well. I wouldn’t hesitate to suggest them to anyone who has the means to shop there.

I love the clothes, but unfortunately the service is very discriminatory. If you don’t look like a certain type of person, you will most likely be ignored while other customers get the attention that all shoppers deserve. I had to demand service and eventually decided that it’d prefer to spend my money in a place where I’m respected as a paying customer.

Nicely laid out Brooks store located near our Hotel.
I was in with my wife this past weekend and we were helped by a tall blonde lady (I forgot her name) who worked with me to find my size in dress shirts. She was very nice to tell us about special discounts on items I otherwise wouldn’t have known about.
I wish the Brooks in Houston were this neat and accommodating, this was the best service I had ever received at a Brooks store.

Brooks Brothers provides great quality clothing at price I can’t pretend to afford but I thought with a 50% off sale they were having I could maybe get some solid standard items. Unfortunately the staff judged me as unworthy of their time and managed to offend me within mere moments of walking in the door. Too bad too. I actually really needed some good work clothes. I know it wouldn’t be much to them but I would have dropped some rather serious money.
That said I would totally go back just for the amazing ties.
