Went today to get that seafood fix. Naturally they only had frozen LA crawfish as the season is over. Ended up getting a couple of pounds of shrimp that were a bit forgetful. I think I’ll stick to getting their crawfish when the season is in, as that is definitely where Broadview shines.

This place is a little hole in the wall but the boiled crab legs and shrimp were the bomb… I am really happy i decided to stop by this little seafood heaven… I liked this place because the seafood boil was spicy if u like spicy seafood i suggest this is the place to go… I thought most of the seafood in the french quarter was bland compared to this place.

Love the crawfish and Turkey necks. The best I’ve had in nearly 10 years, seeing that I’m a New Orleans native living in Texas now.

Dayum. The combo bag was huge. I never expected to feast so much on a turkey neck! Everything has a nice spice to it, which is rare these days. If you don’t like spicey food, stop ordering it and expecting everyone to dumb down the cuisine.

This is my second or third go to spot, if K-Jean’s is closed. The crawfish are small to average in size, with a moderate price tag. But no different then what other seafood spots charge. You can count on extra spicy if that is what your palate craves and can withstand.

We came from Houston and we were staying in the mid city area and decided to walk to this local joint. We grabbed a couple of pounds and found a nice curb to sit on(YES A CURB). We cracked our bag open and went to town on some Crazy good crawfish. Just enough spice, great flavor, and a great price. We will be back next time we are in town… We didn’t get a chance to try the other seafoods but I’m sure everything is probably pretty dam good.

Local place that is so good, seafood is well seasoned and spicy. Definitely recommend getting the turkey neck, sounds odd but was tender and fall off the bone. It’s a to go only place but you get your food very quick.

Who the heck gives this places less than 5 stars?! This is about whether this place has the best crawfish in town period. Who the heck looks for ambience when they are going to go pig out on a bunch of awesome crawfish?! Oh Joes chicken wings are the bomb also!

Seafood smörgåsbord! I don’t know what they put in their marinade, but it is legit. It’s on everything from the crawfish to the crab legs to the corn on the cob and packs quite a punch. Delicious! Don’t forget to try the ooey gooey cake and brownies for dessert. This is a local joint. You won’t find many tourists here, which is fine by me! It makes it all the more authentic.

I bought 10 lbs live crawfish to boil myself and a bag of seasoning. The people behind the counter were friendly. The boiled crawfish made a great lunch and at 1.59/lb was a real steal.

Loved this place. It’s a dive w/no ambience but the food was really good and very reasonably priced. The Asian couple running it were very friendly. Don’t miss the boiled crawfish and po’boys. What fun.

This spot was in the same neighborhood we were staying in. We had driven by it a few times and a local friend of ours says it would probably be a sure deal. He was right. It’s a very straight forward menu, Po boys, chicken tenders and other assorted hot sides and of course, crawfish and crab by the pound. The crawfish was great, perfectly spicy but not overbearing. My shrimp Po boy was a footlong. Get the combo with fries and you get a free Big Shot soda, which I had never had before. I loves me a good grape soda every once in a long while. It’s a very neighborhood type place. We knew it was gonna be good by how many thugs and old people were in the line when we walked in. The workers there are a bit pushy but they mean well.

I can only review the crawfish boil we picked up prior to Jazzfest. We wanted to bring something to our friend’s house for the pre-party so we asked the taxi driver to make a quick pitstop so we can pick up a few pounds. It’s $ 2.69/lb for really yummy crawfish. We were so fortunate that a fresh batch just came out so it was pipin’ hot. The crawfish were juicy & the boil was very flavorful. It’s a separate charge if you want the potatoes & corn on the cob. We were only interested in the crawfish. We wanted to dine here after the festival one evening, but they were already closed. If they had longer hours, I’d give it 5 stars, but it doesn’t & we only got to take advantage of this place for lunch. If you’re in the area, definitely pick up a batch!

the cab driver showed us this place and we gave it a shot. we were looking for a place with boiled seafood and we hit the jackpot with this place! we got 10 lbs of the crawfish, corn, potatoes, sausage, and few lbs of snow crab. The crab was probably some of the best crab ive ever eaten in my life, and I eat crab anywhere i can. It was perfectly seasoned with spices and 100% fresh and juicy! I am missing the taste so much that I’m considering asking them if they’ll ship some to me. the crawfish was good– large and fresh. The corn and potatoes were good too. Everything was very simple n basic but delicious. It was kind of a «hole-in-the-wall» joint but that made no difference to us. Not many places to sit. only two tables were there. most people were there just to order there food and take it home. The price of crawfish was $ 2.97 per lb which is way better than California’s typical $ 8 – 9 per lb.
