Aahhh, Bourbon Rocks! How they draw you in and you keep coming back! During our first night here we were drawn in by the sound of Journey drifting out into the street. The DJ’s there were somewhat entertaining but I would say that it is the late night antics of fellow patrons that are the most entertaining. Does a booty shaking contest to Baby Got Back interest you? That is the type of entertainment at Bourbon Rocks and the girls will find out that the hype dancers are pros! They do have bathroom attendants which are best to be avoided. Well worth a quick jaunt!

I came here with my fiancé, his brother, sister and her man. We had a good time considering we are from the LA area and club out there regulary. We were there on a Friday night, a couple of weeks ago and it wasn’t too packed, but had just enough people. The crowd was definitely a mixed crowd which I love, but they played only top 40 and old top 40 which got old quick! The dj hype man, was a bit annoying at times but we had a blast because of course we were sipping on hand grenades all night enjoying our week long vacay. I would stop by again to get some dancing in for sure, but watch out for one of the waitress who was all up on my future sis in law, letting the whole world know which way she swung. She was soo giddy and smiley when she saw her and then she tried to rub up on her booty. I was like what is this!!! L0L FYI this review is for the one in the French Quarter on Bourbon Street!

I liked Bourbon Rocks. On Friday and Saturday night they had a DJ that was very entertaining. The 3-for-1 deal was amazing and I got totally shitfaced while I was here. Sunday and Monday night they had a band that was really good, they played all of the awesomely bad 80s and 90s music and they did it well! The staff was pretty fun and interactive… the crowd was… eh…but they provided some entertainment as well. This place became a go to place every night when we went to Bourbon Street.

Sorry. On lundi gras they jacked up the price of their 12 oz cans to 5.50 a piece! This place is grimy and was probably one of the only places in the quarter that had a cover. There was a stage but no band. Just bad music with an even more annoying hype man. This place is the worst.

Bourbon Rocks was my first stop in New Orleans once I hit Bourbon Street. I am a bit ashamed to say that I sat at the same bar stool from 12 noon to about 7:15pm. I had fun talking to Rick the Bartender and Kenny the barback! We must’ve taken at least 8 or 9 shots. Living in Miami, where drinks are expensive as hell, this place ROCKED. Our tab was like 50 bucks for that entire time. Shots are 3 bucks and drinks are 2 for 1. Aside from the great drink prices and fun staff– the music rocks!!! They have live bands come play and these people are good. I saw two different bands play and I was completely rocking out. When the bands weren’t there, they had some other music blasting that was just as good. Definitely hit this place up if you’re looking for a fun time in NOLA.
