When Black Swan is popping up I make sure to eat light earlier in the day because I know I’m gonna end up ordering 2 – 3 dishes. Most pop-​ups you try because they’re at your destination, but when Black Swan pops up they ARE my destination.

There is always a huge and welcome variety from this team. I have dreams about their coconut rice, the avocado fries are not to be missed, nor are any of their chicken wing specials. Definitely worth stopping by wherever they are. 10⁄10 would recommend.

So delicious! I’ve tried a lot of their food and have thoroughly enjoyed it all. Each dish is very intricate and well-​executed, with so much attention to detail. Many dishes are quite inventive but are also grounded in tradition and comfort. I love the unique touches– like a thin okra garnish and fried green tomatoes on a green salad. Some of my favorites include: perfectly balanced platano balls with goat cheese filling, the unique sliders, the crawfish pies, and the chicken wings (file gumbo wings?!). Even the simple dishes like thin-​cut fries and avocado salsa are killer. I will definitely be following the women at Black Swan!
