Just another dive bar in mid city(that’s not a bad thing mind you, mid city is awesome, and the more business the better). It looks a lot more quaint outside than it really is. Inside it’s a straight up dive. Used sofas for seating. Some chairs and tables. The whole place is painted red and it’s dark and dingy. Not too bad, if you are in the neighborhood and looking for a drink. Pool tables in the back, if that’s your thing. Also, and I know this is gonna sound SUPER sexist, and don’t cyber smack me, but the ladies room is by the pool tables. Meaning, you have to walk through the pool area and past people playing pool, in order to get to it. The men’s room is easy access and right next to the bar! Now, wouldn’t it make more sense to have the men’s room in the pool area? Let’s be honest… in a place like this, MOST of the people who are going to be shooting pool are going to be men. Yes, I know women play, but in this kind of place, it just seems like it would be MOSTLY men. Right? I don’t know. I’m sure there’s a reason for this, it just seems logistically odd.

Awful, divey, pissy bartender, smells funny, ugly inside. But hell, it’s a bar. A new one, at that(imagine that…) The bar-back is unusually HUGE. It’s wierd. Not my business, but just strange. Heard the kitchen is rented out, but currently closed. Damn. The last guys had really good fries! I’ve been in a handful of times to checkout different bands. My favorite, by far, is Classic Country Thursdays. The band is good, and play a good selection on Cash, Jennings and Haggart classics. Im not much for country since it’s so winey, but they play some good stuff!
