Atmosphere of the bakery was great! Quaint little place to stop in for pastries and coffee! Quiche was very feeling and full of flavor!

I was told that I needed to try this place so I did. CL wanted to try it as well because of how it is famous and old school. When we arrived we were asked if we had reservations. I kept feeling like they didn’t like us because of course they sat us near the kitchen. We waited a good 20 minutes and no one would serve or acknowledge us. We tried flagging waiters and busboys but no one would help us. Finally I told the manager and our server came with waters. We ordered from the $ 20 prefixed lunch menu. Everything was so delishush! I had the salad that came with sweet pepper dressing, bacon, cheese, tomatoes, gesso and onions. It was excellent! CL had the sweet potato soup and he was quite happy. While I stepped away to take pics, the waiter brought out a fresh mini loaf of bread. Next course was our main courses. I had the pork tenderloin with sweet potato mash. It was also just SO good! CL had a oyster sweet potato FILO wrapped disc. I don’t like oysters or sweet potatoes but it was super delishush! We also had 25 cent lemon drops! Where can u find that? the sweetest part was our dessert. I love mint and they had peppermint ice cream over a mint meringue cookie! CL had the toffee buttery bread pudding. It was incredible. I had to thank the manager because the food was outstanding but I minuses one star for the way they treated us upon arrival.

This is the small bakery, not the full restaurant. Just popped in for pastries and coffee, had the BEST eclairs ever! Well priced, good place to sit and people watch. Also has restrooms.
