Was really hoping this was gonna be a good bar, came in here at 3:00 on a tuesday and everybody was hammered drunk and yelling above each other. finally got my drink after 15 minutes, but i have to admit it wasn’t the bartender’s fault she had about 12 dudes literally screaming at her for more beer. the service and selection in this place is just fine, it’s the clientele that really make this place suck. Came in here one night and saw the«rock group» Train sitting at a table with Harrison Ford’s earring drinking goldschlager. That’s how lame this bar is. They should sell airbrushed shirts here instead.

Louie’s… what to say about Louie’s… hmm. Well, to start off, my fiancé has been coming here with his friends long before we met. It’s definitely a neighborhood bar, as everyone knows everyone. They have a very large variety of drinks, an internet jukebox, and of course, the typical lingering smell of smoke(waiting impatiently for NOLA to catch up and go smoke-free). It gets crowded on the weekend evenings, of course, but everyone is served quickly. The mixed drinks are good & reasonably priced. Beer is cheap. Nothing special, but a good atmosphere and a good place to hang out with friends.

MY neighborhood bar! It’s called Louie’s Corner bar now but still a place where«everyone Knows your name!» The bartenders are super friendly especially the daytime girl Sherri and the manager Brett(oh and he’s a cutie too) Also the drinks are really cheap! Oh and during Saints games they have free food and shots of jäger on the house whenever the Saints score a touchdown.
