Loved the Miss Tracy’s so much we went back the next morning for another! Not until Ben was working of course! Loved him-if the owner is smart-give him a raise cuz someone will snatch him up!

I am so upset I didn’t find this place earlier in my visit to New Orleans. Just a hop and a skip from my hotel, not only was it über convenient but it was absolutely amazing. I stopped in the last two days of my vacation and went for Miss Tracy’s Addiction-Espresso, steamed coconut milk, steamed milk, warm honey and a dash of Cayenne. Like it’s moniker, it is truly addicting. Beyond the coffee, the storefront is quaint although not built for hunkering down for 5 hours when you write your thesis. The staff is incredibly friendly as well. If you are in the French Quarter or nearby, make it a point to stop in. You won’t be disappointed.

I work for a tech startup down in Miami — who regularly consumes Panther(automatically makes me a coffee snob). Every city I visit, I seek out the best coffee house. I do so because I love the atmosphere, it breeds good people and interactions, and the proprietor’s are usually down to earth and always serving up the best coffee. All of the above stands true. It’s got an authentic nola feel with some history, and everything inside here was made«from the dump.» It has an oak-y, historic, feel to it and Miss Tracy and her colleague were amazingly nice. You can tell the difference between an authentic welcome and that which’s mandatory. Every coffee house proprietor knows their team is more important than their coffee so she nailed this. I also got the recommended«Miss Tracy’s Addiction» which, as you can see from the other reviews, are on point. It’s different, unique, and very tasty. Definitely worth trying as is their cold brew which’s smooth and strong also. Last, WiFi was working properly and I was able to easily access it without any crazy password. You’d be surprised how many establishments mess this up. Highly recommend if you’re ever in town, and will recommend to all my friends.

I usually get drip coffee, no cream/sugar, but figure I should branch out with a specialty. Was happy I did. The Miss Tracy’s Addiction was delicious! Coconut and a touch of cayenne, nice and smooth. Excellent service too!

Wondered in on an usually chilly morning and started with a warm macchiato and fresh cranberry muffin. Ben’s personality radiated throughout the unique space as he greeted each customer as if he had known them for years. Feeling adventurous after sitting for a bit, I decided to try Miss Tracy’s Addiction– espresso, honey, coconut milk, and cayenne pepper. It was Kelly’s first try at making it and she NAILED it! Such a smooth drink; don’t let the cayenne pepper scare you ;)

Amazing coffee, super friendly staff. My friend and I got hooked on the Miss Tracy’s Addiction our first day in New Orleans and came back every day after for more. Perfect balance of sweet, spicy, and creamy. Shoutout to barista(baristo?) Ben for some laughs and fun stories while he made our coffee, and for very sweetly splitting our shared latte into two cups every time.

I highly recommend this interesting and delicious coffee shop. I stopped in for a coffee on a weekend visit to New Orleans, and was so impressed(and addicted, if you will) that I went back twice before heading home to New York. You must get Miss Tracy’s Addiction — a fabulous coconut milk latte with a kick. It’s not too sweet, and it’s fantastic. The lovely barista, Ben, was very friendly and welcoming, sharing the history of the coffeeshop and tips for making this fabulous latte ourselves. I hope you get to meet him when you visit!

Great ambiance; even better almond milk lattes. Ben, the barista, couldn’t be more welcoming. Whatever station he has playing was awesome. Perfect little spot in the quarter. Definitely recommend!

So nice we came back twice! Purveyors of the perfect cup. Lovely ambiance and friendly, knowledgeable service. Try Miss Tracy’s addiction. This coffee house is a must for anyone who needs their waking caffeine like they need air to breathe. We will be seeking this place out each time we visit The Big Easy.

Whenever your in town addiction is your choice of establishment for coffee. The atmosphere is so laid back and relaxing. Every employee is warm and welcoming. Even the owner is engaging and very free spirited. Now let’s talk about the amazing coffee. When you try a Ms. Tracy’s it’s an explosive experience in your mouth. You can have it hot or cold. Which ever way will tickle your taste buds. And the muffins and cookies go fast so you gotta get there early. You definitely will keep coming back for more coffee while you’re in town. Addiction is the perfect name for this place. I need a fix now. Oh how I miss a cup of Ms. Tracy’s. When I get back to New Orleans that will be my first spot.

Who wouldn’t be tempted to go to a business that has a nearly perfect rating out of a decent sized base of Unilocalers? My friend and I kicked off our Sunday morning with visit to Addiction. Do I think it’s a 5 star business? Not really. Other than a less than fabulous bathroom, I don’t have any hard facts to knock off a star. However, it just didn’t have that va va voom I look for when giving a 5 star rating. With that being said, my expresso was good, the barista was nice and didn’t mind that I paid for just an expresso with a credit card and it was a cute shop. Maybe one visit wasn’t enough to get the essence of Addition. Sometimes it takes a little more trial to get truly hooked.

Addiction isn’t overly fancy or plain. It’s not a place to visit for hours on a quest to get work done. It’s simply a modern, charming coffeehouse with a stern focus on quality coffee. I can get behind that. Inspired by my recent Master of None binge, I ordered my first-ever cortado here. It was strong, smooth, nice, and provided the kick I needed to jump-start my day of French Quarter exploration. And it was so much easier to drink than a straight espresso! Staff members were incredibly friendly throughout the visit. One casually said ‘good morning’ as I waited for my cortado… and later told me he liked my hair color! I realize that’s probably a normal occurrence in NOLA, but I’m from Philly and that never happens to me up here. Usually it’s just a «Yo smile, girl! Life isn’t bad!» in the mornings at home. It’s just too bad I didn’t visit Addiction earlier in the trip. I certainly would have been back again and again! 4.75 stars for sure.

Addiction is probably the newest coffee bar in New Orleans and was conveniently right around the corner from our hotel. TheY use French Truck coffee beans so I was expecting a product comparable to the beverages we got before at the French Truck; that didn’t happen. The space itself is really cool looking nice with two-top tables made out of tree trunk cross sections and a large communal table that was literally a door. I couldn’t stop staring at the door table… awkwardly even after some people sat down at it. When we buy a house in NOLA I could totally have a door table in my house. The tree tables weren’t really shaped to be conducive for, well, anything. You could sit a coffee cup on them but it wouldn’t have worked well with a laptop or a plate and even conversation was strange trying to lean over/in between the curves. Regardless, still a neat looking place. I got the Iced Nola(4.25) and Justin got the specialty hot Tracy’s Addiction(4.5). The iced Nola was no where near as good as the actual French Truck, the proportions of cream and sugar were way off. The Tracy’s Addiction was good and you could definitely taste the cayenne. You definitely have to be in the mood to have a bit of tingle on your lips. There aren’t any pastries or other food available. When we asked the barista if they had anything(there wasn’t anything on the menu) he said he could make us cookies. Very nice to offer but it wasn’t necessary to go to a bunch of trouble for us so we declined. I do wonder if they actually sell cookies all the time or if they just happened to have some cookie dough around. Overall, didn’t really like my coffee but the place was cute, the barista was nice and it was conveniently located. Just not good enough coffee to want to go back the next morning during our visit.

Ahhhhhhhmazing! Extraordinary! Preservation of coolness! Yes they serve excellent grade espresso but there is so much more to this little Nawlin’s haberdashery. I ordered a macchiato(dab of almond milk) Jesse, my awesome barista, prepared it to perfection; dark & steamy just how I like it. I noted all the great things about this place that could make it addictive. 1. The furniture is vintage 2.The scene is almost movie set-ish; props galore not really meant to be touched 3. Beautiful chandeliers 4. Mannequins in the nude 5. Vivid artwork hangings 6. Mirrors I wanted to wrap up and take home 7. Salon chairs older than me 8. Hardwood floor hanging from the ceiling 9. Woodwork tables to die for 10. Originality This is a coffeehouse extraordinaire. You much see it & experience it to believe it. Located in the heart of Bourbon Street directly across from Courtyard Marriott hotel. It’s inconspicuous so walk slow and look hard to find your Addiction. ~Christy

Amazing coffee in NOLA and the French Quarter finally — and a warm, cozy place to enjoy it with friends, your mobile device or a newspaper and book. Spitfire also is offering some excellent coffee in the Quarter, but two things set Addiction apart(well, at least two): First, there is a place to sit and relax. I could have stayed all day here because of the inviting aesthetic in a warehouse environment. As a Brooklyn resident, I felt right at home. Second, there was proper staffing and no long lines. I rarely get a fancy drink at coffee shops, but I chose to experience Miss Tracy’s Addiction. Wow. This is perhaps the best coffee drink I’ve ever experienced. Two shots of espresso, coconut milk, honey and cayenne — yes, in homage to the cuisine of NOLA, cayenne pepper. The cayenne gave the coffee just the right touch of sweet and spicy that made the drink so special and memorable for me. I’m happy that Addiction exists. I’m addicted, and I’ll be back.

Fantastic vibe, staff and coffee at Addiction! Open at 7am every day, Addiction serves coffees & teas within its«refurbed warehouse chic» environment — and doubles as the waiting room for the barbershop/salon next door. Looking for non-alcoholic drink in the French Quarter? This is the place…

First timer today, Unilocal told me I might like it and they were correct. With the sign not up yet due to FQ requirements, I walked past it. But it was worth the effort! Visually, the place is just stunning. Miss Tracy(and friends?) has done a beautiful job. Jessie was very welcoming and friendly. The morning rush was over so we had time to visit before my next appt. I had the Signature drink and it did not disappoint. I was so impressed with the look/feel, I did an Instagram post. I love the fact that a salon waiting room was transformed into something so beautiful and unique. Reminds me of the Succulent Café in Oceanside, CA that Peter Loyola created. Will be back! Soon!

Venture from the hustle and bustle of Bourbon Street to the hidden gem of all cafes! Should you feel the need for a coffee pick-me-up, a visit to Addiction will leave you highly caffeinated and energized!(No need to hassle with the long lines at Café Du Monde). Addiction is the most charming, unique and quaint café with its rustic décor and welcoming ambiance. Everything in the café has been repurposed, even the tables are made from reclaimed wood! I had the infamous Miss Tracy’s Addiction over ice and it rocked my world like no other coffee has done! It was a potently delicious concoction of espresso, steamed milk, cinnamon, cayenne, honey and perhaps a few other secret ingredients. A word of caution though, if you are sensitive to cayenne, be sure to let your barista know to adjust the amount added. The staff was polite, helpful and took their time to carefully craft and create my coffee. Miss Tracy has certainly invested much time and effort into the café and it’s beaming with friendly, happy vibes! Addiction will be at the top of my list whenever I visit the French Quarter. I hope you will come to love Addiction as much as I do!

Under normal circumstances I would avoid anything that would become an «Addiction» especially when it’s located 1500 miles away from the place I now call home. But after seeing the sign and a glimpse of the set up when exiting my hotel, I decided to give it a try. After all, many people see coffee as their daily addiction and it is said that coffee is the 2nd most consumed beverage in the world after water. While I’m not a regular coffee drinker, I can see how this place could easily change one’s mind. It was a heavenly experience. As soon as I walked through the door, I immediately questioned my need to place a to go order. I did not want to rush out. I wanted to take it all in. The soothing music, the cool seating, the warmth and I wanted to people watch. At that very moment, I understood how others could spend an entire day hanging out in the coffee shop. Unfortunately commitments snapped me back into reality. So I placed a take out order. I ordered the Miss Tracy(cold)and a banana pecan muffin. The drink is much better than its description and I am glad I did not allow the combination of ingredients to influence my decision. Coconut milk, honey, cayenne pepper and coffee together did not appeal to my mind but it is really good. So much so, that as I write about it, my mouth is watering. It is evident that each drink is made with lots of love. I just hope the Chicago native owner shows her hometown some love by opening one there soon.
