Don’t move here. The hallways, elevators, and elevator lobby are not air conditioned. It is literally 90+ degrees in the common areas — except for the office where the manager sits. They are spending a fortune renovating the lobby and manager’s office, and adding new apartments. But they have no interest in current tenants and their living conditions. Each summer the building gets overheated and each time I’ve inquired about it, I’ve been told a different story as to why it’s so hot. What it boils down to is that they refuse to spend any money on the current tenants’ areas. They also attempted to raise my rent by saying that I’m a month-​to-​month renter. They wanted $ 100 more per month for a 12 month lease, $ 200 for 6 months, and $ 300 for month to month. Fortunately, I had a copy of my lease so they couldn’t do that. I’ll be moving out when my current lease expires. The new managers do not care about tenants and do not seem to know what they’re doing.
