521 Tchoupitoulas

521 Tchoup is an extended stay suite corporate living situation in the central part of New Orleans. I spent two weeks here on business and there are some pros and cons.
The location is quite good, just two blocks outside the French Quarter and walking distance to my favorite place to eat in NOLA Cochon Butcher. There are four suite sizes and all seem adequate and have a clothes washer and dryer which is a big plus if you are staying away from home for more than a few days. I will add some pictures as I can.
The furniture and appliances are all new and «nice» modern, what you would expect to find in a place like this. There is free WiFi in the rooms, thought the signal in my suite is not all that snappy.
The down sides:
In my suite there are no windows to the outside world! Very off putting and like in Vegas, you never know if it is day or night. There are big windows with dark shades leading onto the central courtyard, but if you raise the shades you are on display to the wold. I assume this is not the case with every suite.
There is ABSOLUTELY no cleaning supplies in the suite, not a kitchen scrubbie or leftover laundry detergent, which means I take a daily trip to Rite Aid to pick up something.
I still don’t know if there is any kind of a cleaning schedule, I have been here three days and so far no sign of someone coming to tidy up.
