Tiny rooms with practically no natural light, one shared bathroom for each 5 – 6 rooms, filthy carpets in the hallway. At $ 140 per night (including all taxes), this is apparently what passes for great value in NY.
On the positive side, the rooms and baths are clean, and although it’s hardly central, the area is nive and there is a subway stop just over a block away that makes it relatively easy to get downtown.
Note: the hotel is not signposted on the street and shows up on Expedia as the Grant hotel (don’t ask me why).
