The cheesesteak was average, tried two different hot pepper add ons that were raw and didn’t complement the sandwich at all. Happy hour here is a total joke, no deal to be found don’t bother.

This place was decent. The hoagie was okay. That was it. I’m writing this review a month after I visited the place. It took me a second to remember what I had there or where it’s located. If it takes me some time to remember much about the place, I probably won’t go back. The fries, however, were BOMB. Eat them. Order A LOT of fries. The fries are delicious and the people that tended the place were the absolute best.

I went there last Monday for Monday night football. I was just in NYC for the one night. I was glad I found this spot to enjoy the game and a few beers and great food. I had the salt snd pepper wings to start then a little later on the garbage bread. The wings were good but the garbage bread was great. I was almost tempted to place another or of it for pick up the next day for my flight home. Both the bartenders were friendly and helpful selecting some different beers to try. They girl was super friendly and very attentive and the guy knew his football and chatted about both college and nfl. All in all a good night with great food and service. Thanks for the enjoyable night.

This rating has nothing to do with food or service(both of which are very good), but rather this ranking is for anyone who is looking for a sports bar to watch NFL and this establishment’s management strategy in that regards. They are an Eagles bar and they have around 10 tvs, and each one will be showing the Eagles(1 – 3) vs the Saints(1 – 3). Not most of the tvs, ALL of the tvs. Hopefully for their sake the Eagles improve and the bar isn’t empty from Nov-Dec due to lack of Philly fan interest and exclusion of every other football fan. But again, great food & service. Just ignorant business strategy.

Got the buffalo chicken cheese steak. It was warm and just the right amount of spicy. However, for a cheese steak it wasn’t super cheesy. Also I asked for blue cheese and was given ranch. Ordered to go so I didn’t know until I got back to work. For $ 11 I probably won’t go back, good though despite not being quite what I was expecting.

Just tried to go in to watch the first Eagles game of the year and found the bar packed with Wall Street asses who extended their happy hour. On top of that, all of the tables were reserved with NOONE sitting in them??? No local dive should be pompous enough to have reserved seats. I watched a lot of money walk out when people saw the reservation nonsense. If you want to be an Eagles bar, Wogies, you better learn how to better serve your demographic. Now sitting at Clinton Hall around the corner to watch and see a bunch of people who left Wogies. Seems like Clinton Hall is a better place to serve fans.

I like(gastro)pub food a lot, but Wogies didn’t really impress me. Came here with a friend after work looking to pig out, so we ordered a bunch of stuff: Buffalo wings: decent, not bad, not mindblowing. The sauce was pretty standard, and the quality of the wings(meat/bone) itself deteriorated as we went through the pile. Potato bread(garbage bread): probably the most interesting thing on the menu… I like this one a lot, though it was a bit overstocked with potatoes, even with its name. I think if I were to come again, I’d try the Italian one, but it was good nonetheless. Waffle fries(with cheese): solid, nothing special. Fried mozzarella balls: pretty good, but kind of inconsistent in quality(there weren’t that many balls, and one of them was hollow…). The service is mediocre. You sit yourself and wait a little bit for someone to come. The place is pretty small, so it gets kind of loud, so it’s not ideal for conversation. I could see myself coming here again if I lived right next to it/if my friends liked to come here after work or something, but otherwise, I’m sure I can find something better.

This restaurant opened fairly recently. I love going here to watch games, the service is great, and the food is really good. There aren’t that many different types of beers, but the waffle fries are TODIEFOR.

This Wogies is my go-to for Eagles games when I’m running late and can’t find any other location uptown to watch the game. Though it’s never too crowded, it would be wise to come as early as possible to snag a booth. It’s far bigger than the Greenwich Village location, so even if you come late, you’ll at least be comfortable with standing room. You can feel a bit more comfortable bringing larger groups here too, especially with the bar area and the larger tables. The food here is just as good as the other location, and it’s always nice to enjoy that food and the game without being shoulder to shoulder. My usuals are the garbage bread, or a whiz wit’. The wings here are also pretty good, and not too dry, which is a usual symptom of deep fried wings. They usually have a Sunday/Monday wing special from 8-midnight, which apparently is pretty good. In all, their bar food is definitely above-average and relatively well-executed, as much as can be anyway. I was a little disappointed when I asked for a lager, and the waiter brought me something other than Yuengling. I guess it was very optimistic for me to assume that the waitstaff was Philadelphia-based as well. At any Philadelphia bar, you ask for a lager, there’s no confusion as to what you’ll get. The Wogies in Greenwich Village has never let me down in that regard, but it’s not the biggest deal. They do have a decent selection on tap, as well as a good selection of bottles. In my opinion, the service here is a bit laggier than the other location, but with a larger area to cater to, I’m a bit more understanding. I can’t say I would come here just to hang out on weekends, given the neighborhood, but I’ll definitely be back a few times for the upcoming football season, especially now that I live on the West side, and can swing down on the 1 train.

My brothers and friend stopped in here on a whim. Awesome! The best part is the service! The bar tenders were sweet, inviting, accommodating and chill. We had buffalo chicken sub(could use more onions and peppers but delicious!). Go ranch over blue cheese(blue cheese is not chunky). Atomic steak and cheese was delicious but really filling. Shoe string fries were great. Fries pickles were perfection. Wings were great, but even for us super spicy people, the krazy was too hotttt with not enough flavor. Drafts are cold and crisp. Loved this place.

Yeah the wings are great but the service is awful. My waitress didn’t stop back a single time while I was eating to see if i needed more water or anything. I also had to get up and walk over to ask for my check. She was parked at the corner of the bar droning on and on about the differences between LA and NY. It was actually kind of sad because she is clearly inching toward 40 and she seemed so desperate for the attention of the finance bros at the bar. Just because I’m not a junk bond broker named Chad doesn’t mean I don’t need attention when I am eating, won’t be going back.

Hot wings — 5 stars. Perfectly fried but not breaded, crispy, saucy, delicious Garlic wings — 1 star. The one star is because they are crispy. but these are dry and flavorless. Just because they are garlic wings doesn’t mean that you should ONLY season the wings with garlic and with nothing else. We ended up ordering an extra cup of hot sauce to drench them in. And of course, we were charged for that sauce.

Came here after work with a coworker on a Friday. We were being served at a table by a waitress and she was very attentive given the place was pretty busy. We ordered the fried zucchini, fried mozzarella balls, and the Philly spring rolls. They were all good. My favorite was the fried zucchini. I wasn’t super impressed with the food but there is a lot on the menu I haven’t tried. The place had a pretty good crowd but wasn’t packed either. I’m sure I’ll be back at some point for an after work happy hour.

Came here with some friends on a Friday night and I had a good time. Don’t come here if you want a crowded place to find people. It was low key but the setting was just right. Our servers John and Carly were great the whole night. Drinks were always on point! Ask them to make anejo tequila mixed with Frangelico– you wont regret it! Mozzarella balls were also super good. Cant go wrong with cheesey balls! Good music was always playing in the background. If you are looking for a low-key place to go, come here. Right off the R train!

Went to Wogie’s for a Saturday Eagles game and had 8 in our booth. Actually a really nice space with tons of screens. Service was good until I was served a beer that just didn’t taste quite right. Happens. I attempted to send it back through our server, but that was a mistake. Beware: sending a beer back at Wogie’s, a routine act at any sports bar on the planet, is an act of congress at Wogie’s. After literally walking around the entire bar with my remaining beer in her hand, checking with her bartenders not once, but twice to poke holes in her customer’s opinion, our server tries to hand the very same beer back to me saying«they say this is definitely Sierra Nevada». At this point my options are to a) take back my(now warm) remaining portion of a lousy tasting pint, or b) restate my case that said beer didn’t taste right. I chose option b, and that should have been the end of it. Instead, our server then brings over her manager to lay the hammer down. «Hey, so this is definitely Sierra Nevada. It’s my favorite beer, so yeah.» Thanks for your expert opinion, Ms. Manager. Yes, a $ 6 pint generated this much consternation and hysteria with Wogie’s management at a table in the process of spending hundreds of dollars while just trying to enjoy a football game. «But since you’re sending this back we are going to check the kegs downstairs just to make sure this is the right beer.» That’s fantastic. Now can I have a new beer? Wow. Maybe they’re not aware of the whole tipping custom at the end of the meal?

5– stars from me! Stumbled across this tiny location while searching for a lunch spot in a new city. And was my favorite meal from my trip! Chicken sandwich on pretzel bun with waffle fries was amazing and prices were reasonable. Not a large facility but staff was friendly and I can’t wait to make it back here on my next NYC trip!
