Very dishonest establishment. They make you agree to a $ 100 bartab for two people, which is not so bad. But then when you and your friend have bought about 4 – 5 drinks each, suddenly they present you with a bill for $ 120EACH. There was no way for us to have possibly drank that much after already having drank at another place prior to arriving at this garbage, ghetto club. I had the shady bartender bring out his manager(probably the owner), and he comped us one drink each as if it was routine, and the owner is obviously aware of this. Do NOT go to this shithole!

Came here over the summer for a night out with friends. I really enjoy the vibe and concept here. It’s an ‘underground’, dark, and funky/artsy dance club. There are statues and paintings all around and graffiti-type murals covering all of the walls. There is a huge bar in the back of the club with over priced, yet decent drinks being served. Bartender told me there was a $ 20.00 or more minimum on credit cards which just skeeves me out and seems sketchy whenever I hear that, so I usually rather not drink at all then adhere to such a BS policy. DJ was playing pretty decent music but the dance area in front of the DJ station was narrow and difficult to dance in, not much of a designated dance area. I cannot say that an impressive number of people were dancing per se, it was more of a loungey type place. People drink, mingle, and dance at their respective areas, tables, and spots as opposed to any one ‘dance floor.’ The vibe and ambiance definitely has a «Williamsburg» type feel to it and is funky art gallery meets underground night club. I wouldn’t be opposed to coming here if my friends were going, but not sure I would suggest coming here or volunteer to come here.

WIP is a thing of the past, its had its time. With other popular clubs such as the likes of Marquee, Lavo, Finale, and Provocateur — WIP is commonly known as a place that«used to be fun». Now with my review: 1 Tight Security. The security here is very tight and goes by rules in the books, meaning no hanky panky. Most times that I am here, they need to check TWO forms of IDs, meaning an ID and a credit card, in order for a person to get in. 2 Outdated experience. As I mentioned WIP is always now referred to as a thing of the past. Honestly speaking, the place USED to have better music and USED to also attract a better/larger crowd. My first experience here was amazing. My friends and I came on a Thursday night with a promoter and had a blast with good music and unlimited drinks. It was fun while it lasted. One thing that was recently added to make the club more fun was their introduction of masks! One masks runs for a couple dollars, and you can turn the night into your own masquerade party. 3. Drinks have a minimum of $ 50 for credit cards. Now, once my friend disputed this as apparently clubs only allowed to enforce minimums up to $ 10 so the bartender waived the minimum after some heated discussion. 4. Only come with promoters. I have only came here before with promoters and will only come here with promoters. I’d advise you to do the same!

Randomly found myself here this past Saturday night. I paid $ 10 to get in which is crazy. But I wanted house music and I didn’t have any options at that time… so I said ok I better get my $ 10 worth. Did I? NO! The venue itself was cool… reminded me of a club you would find downtown, lots of art on the walls. DJ sucked! It was some random asian girl who 99.99% of the time had her hands in the air dancing instead of «djing» the music selection was horrible and her transitions sucked! That’s a negative for me. Crowd was 99% asian that night. I gave it till 1am to see if things were going to switch up and it didn’t so I walked out in disappointment. Potential was there if there was another DJ?!

Crowded. There isn’t really a designated dance floor. It is well decorated but I dunno… There’s a few floors you can go on with different music but its inconvenient. Drinks are pretty expensive too. $ 16 for an AMF? Really? Maybe its just NYC but even Vegas is cheaper than that! Cover was $ 30. They have an odd system… If you’re under the age of 24, they ask that you provide a second form of ID. Was the first time I’ve come across that. I had a good time so I can’t complain. The music is decent. A lot of remixes of the top 40 songs and a few old but good songs.
