Pretty nice wine bar. Bartender here is super friendly and helpful in helping us make a wine choice! It is on the pricey side but I don’t really expect any different from on ny wine bar. Looked like they have decent prices for happy hour tho! Side note: it is on the second floor :)

Went here for a company lunch recently and had a great time. I’m not sure what the normal dining experience is like for regular service, but for our private lunch it was wonderful. I had the bean purée soup, hanger steak, and brownie along with a glass of pinot grigio and a glass of chianti. Everything I had was delicious. Everyone enjoyed the food and the service was attentive and polite. I would love to come back here as a normal walk-in guest at some point just to check out the normal, everyday service. This is a nice find, especially considering I always have a difficult time finding good places to eat in this neighborhood. Glad to have been introduced to it.

I hosted a private cocktail party here for 50+ people. We had a GREAT time. Management was communicative and very helpful in advance of the party and worked with us to develop a food/drink menu that fit our budget. Service the night-of the event was stellar — friendly, helpful and responsive. The venue itself is beautifully decorated; the music sets a nice, lively tone(though not loud or overwhelming in any way). I highly recommend Wined Up! Prior to hosting this event, I visited Wined Up two or three times as a private guest. Each time, I also had very positive experiences with the quality of wine and the high-caliber service.

Came by for dinner with a few friends Friday night. Nice ambiance, decent wine selection and reasonably priced. Friendly staff. Menu items are kind of limited. We ordered a bunch of appetizers, the mahi mahi tacos were good, and the ricotta was delicious too. The rest of the food was good but nothing terribly exciting or impressive. Mushroom ravioli main course was good. We got the brownie & ice cream dessert, the brownie was rather dry. I wouldn’t mind coming back but probably just for drinks.

Standard Happy Hour prices, $ 5 for beer, $ 5 – 6 for wine, and $ 6 well drink. It gets pretty busy during HH time, but afterwards it’s empty.

Uniquely quiet and spacious if you’re looking for a place to grab a glass of wine with friends on a Saturday night. A great place to host a party. We hosted about 50 friends last night and were able to reserve half the bar area. Bradley and Danny were super-helpful in setting up the area and serving our guests. Wine and cocktail list is top-notch. 4 stars only because the ambiance is slightly sterile but overall good.

The fish is not great, but the fries are really good and the environment is really nice. Classy. Great/friendly service from staff. Will be coming back!

I had no problem with this place. It was Friday night at 8:30 pm and a few of the other bars in the area were a bit crazy, and we randomly ended up here and got seated right away. The 4 of us split a bottle of wine, and we got the fruit/cheese plate(a bit small) and the spicy edamame. Good atmosphere and good wine, good place to go after dinner for a drink.

I can’t even begin to tell you how amazing this place really is. I too have passed by Punch/Wined Up countless times. I had to find a nice intimate place to plan my wife’s birthday dinner, and I kept back coming to this place. Needless to say, the stars aligned just right. I contacted them to book the private dinner party, and I was fortunate to come across Mike. He was attentive to all the details and more than willing accommodate the needs of my private party and customized a standard menu for my guest and an endless option menu strictly for my wife(which she loved). Lucas was the night manager overseeing my party to make sure everything went smoothly. That last sentence was an understatement. Lucas was STELLAR!. My guest are still raving about him. He was exceptionally personable to the point where we felt he was also our guest. Offering the perfect pairings for meals and even handed me candles for my wife’s birthday cake(which I forgot about. Lol) I could not dare forget about the food, it’s miles better than some 5 star restaurants that my wife & I have dined before. I enjoyed the Truffled Crab Fritters & Atlantic Cod and potatoes, my wife had the Calamari & Cast Iron Steak and fries, everyone’s dessert choice seemed to be the Espresso Brownie. The portions were a great size and full of flavor. In all, this is an amazing place filled with an amazing staff who will make you feel at home. That’s a tough thing to find in the city these days, but I’m glad Punch/Wined Up gets it right.

DONOTEATHERE. The chef doesn’t have tastebuds, and to be honest I don’t think they have a chef, or even someone who can follow a recipe back there. The food here is dry as cardboard, overcooked, flavorless, and feels like it’s prepared in several days’ old oil. I’ve been here several times over the years for the wine(which is just fine — after all they did not make it) and the service is alright(brought wrong food twice, no water refills, for example). But year after year the food quality gets no better. It’s a pity. When you get the munchies PLEASE do yourself a favor and exit the premises. There is not a soul in this establishment who knows how to cook — they’d be better off not offering food at all. On the flavorless, dry cardboard list: ravioli, the mahi mahi tacos, the calamari, the fries to just name a few. Good place for wine, bad for anything solid!

Sort of a hidden, was pretty empty on a Saturday night. Might be more of a weekday date night spot. The venue is nice, didn’t get around to trying the food though it looked pretty good and reasonable prices, wine list is a bit limited. Would come back to try the food out, seems like a good weekday spot in a central location.

Nice environment and good food. Service was great. We told our waitress we were trying catch a movie and she made sure we got our food, wine and check quickly.

A pleasant surprise after entering a narrow upward stair. I had a Pinot Noir from Oregon and it was spectacular.

I work three blocks from this place and never noticed it. It’s a hidden gem on a second floor walk up. I was brought here by a coworker and I was enchanted. Went back for a second time with a date and she was impressed. Great service, beautiful décor, awesome food and a huge selection of wine. Great spot to catch up with friends or just go and relax. Enjoy the Happy Hour.

Expensive, with few good wine options for it beig a wine bar(in my opinion). The cheese plate was $ 16 for three cheeses and the cheese selection was incredibly underwhelming. For the prices, I expected better. Meh. But hey at least it was half empty during happy hour, so easy to find seats?

I really wanted to like this place… but I didn’t for some weird reason. The bartender was amazing, as was our server and the hostess — and I’d probably come back if I needed a last minute dinner place. They had a good riesling, which(sadly) is almost always my wine of choice. What can I say — I like sweet wines. My dinner was also after happy hour, so the wine ended up costing a good amount. On the positive side, all of our glasses were quite generous pours. Since my friend’s a vegetarian, I decided to go with a vegetarian meal. We both ended up ordering the mushroom ravioli since it sounded amazing, and the wild mushroom pizzetta to share. The pizza was 10x better than the ravioli — my ravioli was hard and probably could’ve been cooked maybe two or three minutes longer… and needed a pinch of salt. It was great how they didn’t rush us and let us take our time eating and chatting. It’s a cute place for a girl’s night out or a date — I just wish the ravioli was better. Had my entrée been better, this would’ve become my go-to restaurant in the neighborhood. I’d definitely come back had I managed to make it for happy hour… and I’ll come back for that pizza. But then probably go somewhere else for dinner.

Ambiance is great — very romantic. Wine is slightly on the expensive side and not as large of a selection as I expected. Had a cheese and meat plate, I think it was decently tasty but it will struggle to compete with the likes of Amelie.

Exactly what I consider a 3-star, a few pluses, a few minuses, absolutely average. We did not make it for happy hour but the place was still quite busy on a rainy Wednesday night. Myself and my date squeezed two chairs into the bar. After an hour of waiting for the couple next to us to leave(hadn’t refilled wine the entire time we were there, had the bill in front of them), the Bartender noticed this and found us recently-vacated more comfortable seats at the end of the bar. Plus. Nice selection of wines, as you would expect, and the bartender was knowledgeable and open to letting you taste as well as switch the glassware. But, an average of $ 14 a glass is quite pricey, especially if you end up drinking 3 or 4. Minus. My date ordered the bruschetta, assuming this would be a heavily tomato dish. It was not. It was actually ricotta cheese based as a dip with bread. He wasn’t happy, I told him he should have read it. Draw. I probably would have preferred the lights dimmed a bit more for a bit of a sexier, romantic ambiance. Like I said, average right?
