The place was empty — not one table taken and the«kid» who seated us wanted to seat us at the smallest table. He thought they may a rush. Can you believe a rush at 10 pm. He was rude and we live in the neighborhood. Eat there regularly. Which such bad service why return. With the selection of restaurants one would think they would be polite. Skip this place — food is average and the service is bad. When you pay peanuts you get monkeys.

The lettuce in my overpriced caesar salad was sour, and the new bartender decided to kick my friend and I out once the shifts changed, even though we’d dropped over $ 100 bucks at the bar. Probably won’t be back.

The food was very good. Not amazing but very good. But i did only have an omelet grits and homefries for brunch. The food is 4 stars but the service was so great, I had to give the place 5 stars. When I arrived I was still waiting for a friend. Whomever greeted me offerred to have me sit at the bar, and told me he would bring me some water shortly. I didnt even have to ask. My friend arrived shortly after, and we were promptly seated. Our server was very nice, and very patient as it took us a while to decide what we wanted. I asked her for a drink suggestion and she helped me make the right choice. My drink was excellent. Not only that but shortly after she bought me another free of charge because the bar tender made a little too much when they made my drink. The only thing that threw me off was the open face omelet. I though it just meant it was not folded but it actually meant that the ingredients were just placed on top and not actually cooked into the egg. Not what I expected but I made do. The cheddar grits were good. It must be white cheddar because while it looked plaon, when I tasted it, it was loaded with cheese. Id return again if in the area.

Came in during happy hour to meet some friends and the vibe was ideal for a Wednesday evening. The ambiance of the place is very open. I ordered the a seasonal beer, the hummus and pita, and a side of fries. As our party grew they accommodated us and moved us to a larger table without any problem or a large wait. Which was surprising during happy hour. Overall this is a solid place with decent happy hour specials to keep in mind if you’re in flatiron.

Will never go back again. Staff were so unfriendly. They brought out each persons food individually, instead of all at once. The food was mediocre and over priced.

Great food and great service. They are very accommodating to any food allergies or preferences. The bartender/waiter Chris is amazing and very attentive. I will definitely be returning and I recommend this venue for brunch.

We actually came here by mistake while looking for another spot when the bartender waved us in. Thank god he did because my friends and I were starving and getting antsy. The same bartender was our server and ended up being an absolute delight. He was so pleasant and chatty.(Handsome, Irish, beard.) Pretty empty at around 10:30 on a Friday night. Maybe because of the area? I loved the chicken club sandwich. The fries that accompanied it were even better! The three of us finished every last fry. They were thin and crisp to perfection. One friend had the mahi mahi tacos and was less impressed. She said they were too«fishy» and ended up eating two out of three. Other friend had the pizza and was overwhelmed and surprised by how good it was. I tried it too and the cheese was soo different and fresh and much better than regular mozzarella. For drinks, we tried:(1) lychee martini — super sweet/fruity(2) some kind of spicy margarita — spicy and left a strong aftertaste in my throat. I thought it was okay, one friend hated it and the other loved it so I’d say order this with caution(3) a blood orange cocktail which I don’t remember anything about. Overall, drinks were okay. Food was great, service was even better. If in the area, I would stop in again for sure. Seems like a good happy hour spot. I’m not typically in the area around happy hour but if I was I’d try it out.

They have happy hour deals on the weekends until 7pm! Laid back ambience and good service. My favorite drink, but not on the menu for happy hour is their blood orange cocktail. Not too sweet, but really flavorful.

Came here for dinner with a friend on Thursday night and had a wonderful time. There’s a bar in the front so it was a bit loud, even though we were in the back. We were both hungry and disappointed that they didn’t give us bread. There was another table with bread and we were jealous. Maybe they ordered it, I don’t know, but we wanted bread. It was probably a good thing that we didn’t end up actually getting bread because we were both full from the delicious food. I had the special fish of the night(I think it was halibut) and my friend ordered the Atlantic Salmon. The salmon was what you would expect, satisfying but not spectacular. The unconfirmed halibut was moist and delicious, and I loved the sauce and vegetable pairings. We then split the Apple & Pear Cobbler. The fruit was a bit too sweet, but the cobbler itself had great texture and I love vanilla ice cream on baked goods. Had a fun time, would definitely come back for drinks and more food.

Came here for the first time today. The servers were friendly, but the food was overpriced for it’s taste and quality. Tried the beet salad, which was ok. Not bad but not as delicious as you expect a $ 14 beet salad to be. The cheese plate was ok, it came with honey, a strawberry, some slices of apple, and some lettuce. I’m a big fan of cheese plates and enjoyed the cheeses, but the portions were quite small. I might come back here for happy hour drinks, but won’t be back for the food.

Had a lovely Valentine’s Day at Punch recently. Oh boy, did we eat, drink and be merry. I decided for the special occasion I would have bottomless mimosas with a side of steak and eggs. Delicious! And special shout out to our lovely server Linda, whose real name wasn’t Linda, but she didn’t mind that we kept calling her that. We had so much fun! Will definitely go back!

Sat at the bar with a friend. Their happy hour is decent for the area($ 6 for drafts, well drinks and house wine). Our bartender was incredibly attentive and gave us amazing service. We had the green beans and quesadilla which were both pretty good.(But I would hope a $ 9 quesadilla is better than average). The house white wine was actually the best part of night. It was definitely better than o expected for house wine. Can’t remember the name of the brand though. All in all its a nice place that I would definitely go back to when I’m in the area.

Punch brunch! Was meeting up with some friends on one of those great winter Sundays that make you think that we’ve already made it to spring. I committed that I refused to go to the same old brunch places again. I just felt like trying something different. So after some Unilocal searching, I settled on Punch– the location worked for everyone, the reviews seemed cool enough and I felt the positive commitment to boost brunch. My party of 6 came prepared for boozy branching. One thing that I really appreciated about their menu is that the boozy options were varied and even included tap beer(not that anyone ordered it, but it’s the thought that counts). I ended up ordering the cheese grits with fried eggs. This comes with bacon AND sausages. Thanks for respecting the carnivores! My one disappointment was the fried egg was hella runny(like full yoke runny) which o would never expect given the menu described it as a fried egg. Runny eggs turn my stomach so I had to send that back immediately. Luckily my waiter was like a ninja who would come with great offerings of mimosa or a plate of food, but be gone in a flash before you realized to tend to the next item. He was on top of things. The drinks floweth and well I can definitely appreciate that on a Sunday Funday. I’ve officially added Punch to my boozy brunch list. Thanks!

Came here New Year’s day for brunch with friends and loooved it. Got a reservation the same day as well. Their $ 35 bottomless brunch deal is so worth it and the food’s amazing. Our waiter was awesome, will definitely come again. It was a little bit loud but that’s the crowd, not a huge downer. I really want to try out their Wine Bar upstairs!

One of Time Out NY’s top 10 boozy brunch spots! $ 35 for your entrée and an hour and a half of unlimited bloody mary, belini, or mimosas. Most entrees are $ 14 and up, drinks are $ 5.50 each so the boozy option is well worth it. We came in after staying a night in the city for the Halloween parade. Instantly loved the cozy feel and décor. Drinks were well made and we never waited for a refill. Food was great, I had salmon and eggs benidict which was delicious. As a non-salmon lover what truly made this delicious was the salmon being so thinly sliced. The husband had a farmers omelet, it was huge, and delicious. Our waiter was great, he even placed our bags into the closet so we didn’t clog up the restaurant with our luggage. This was a great find. I’d love to go back!

I rate this a 3-Star for the food but a 4-Star for the deal and overall experience. This is a fantastic place for a boozy brunch. Their Brunch Forever for $ 34.95 includes unlimited brunch cocktails and tap beer with your meal. I tried the $ 17 Cast Iron Hanger Steak with Eggs which was okay(the steak was tough even though I ordered it medium rare) but my friends ordered the $ 20 Smoked Salmon and Avocado Eggs Benedict and said it was pretty good. We all drank plenty of cocktails(over $ 15 – 18) to make our $ 34.95 well, well worth it! It’s going to be a regular brunch place for us now.

They were able to fit a group of 8 people comfortably on a Sunday. The restaurant was not too busy which was nice. However, the service felt like they were understaffed. They said they over-cooked one of our burgers although we think they simply forgot his order. So the remaining 7 of us sat with food in front of us for 15 minutes while we waited for his food to come. Therefore, most of us had cold food by the time they served him his order. We liked the unlimited drink option and the fact that mimosas were only $ 5 if you didn’t want unlimited. However, our overall experience was not good and we won’t be recommending to others or going back in the future.

Came here for brunch and got salmon eggs Benedict. Did not like it at all. It needed more flavor and salt. The eggs were also cold like they just had them sitting there for a while. I have had eggs Benedict at many places and this was by far the worst. The dish looked nice and the service was decent but will never come back for the food.

Went here as a group of 6 and what an amazing experience we had! We had made reservations for 1:00 pm and were seated on time, even though 2 of us didn’t arrive on time. We got started with our drinks right away and ordered mimosas and stuck with it all the way till the end. The drinks were pretty good and definitely had a good«Punch» to it! Other drinks on the bottomless menu were Bellini’s and Bloody Mary’s. For entrees, I got the Turkey Burger. I wasn’t too happy with it at first, because my burger didn’t have cheese on it and nowhere in description did it say, that cheese would or would not be there. However, Roberto, our server, noticed it right away and brought my burger again with chedder cheese melted on it. While the burger didn’t have a stand out taste to it, I enjoyed my burger. Good portion and quite filling. Danny and Roberto ensured that our mimosas were always filled up. Special thanks to both for making our Saturday brunch a lot of fun! At $ 34.95 for brunch, the brunch experience is totally worth it!

I went here with 2 friends on a Thursday night after the upstairs(WinedUp) was closed for a private event. The place was PACKED, but we managed to get a table in the back. The décor and ambiance is nothing is nothing to write home about, but on a dark Thursday night who can even notice/care, right?! We ordered a bottle of wine(which later turned into 2 bottles of wine) and few plates to share. The tempura string beans were a huge hit. We also ordered shrimp dumplings, Mediterranean plate and the pizza– all was decent, but nothing out of this world. The price is right, especially for the neighborhood, and the service was prompt and friendly.

My family has been here twice now… for brunch only. We come for the«bottomless brunch»… $ 35 for 90 min of unlimited brunch drinks and food. Our favorites are the burger(juicy and delicious!) with fries and the cheese grits with fried eggs, sausage and bacon(unbelievably fatty and delicious!). The service was fantastic since our server made sure we never had an empty glass(smart move since it’s obvious we are here for the bottomless part of the brunch). The basket of bread and muffins with jams and butter helps absorb the alcohol and it’s tasty too! One of our favorite bottomless weekend brunch places in the city.

Really good food, I had the Mediterranean platter and it was great to share as an appetizer. I also ordered the turkey burger which was delicious and nicely seasoned. Also really good pricing. Our server Jesse was a sweetheart, he kept checking up on us to make sure we were doing great. I gave this restaurant 3 stars because of the lack of staff and obvious needs for renovation. When I walked in the restaurant there was no one to greet me or seat me. It was a little odd, and on top of that Jesse was the only server! He was running around taking care of all the tables which seemed overwhelming. The ceiling has black spots all over it and it looks unfinished, the tables were quite small and awkwardly placed for two people towards the back of the restaurant. I would recommend this place for lunch, I just hope they get more people and fix the place up a bit.

Very tasty food. I ordered a cheeseburger with additional bacon and french fries. The portion was quite big, but I’ve managed to eat everything. The only downside was the price of water. We «accidentaly» ordered water, which happened to be large bottle of Acqua Panna. We payed 9 $ for it which is hilarious. The cost of burger was 16 $. The atmosphere inside is also great, but the water reduced my optimism about the final rate– 4 stars.

It’s become my to-go after work drink spot. They’re never stingy with their pour or quality of crafting a drink. Sit at the bar they have happy hour til 7pm. The bartender takes care of you. And get French fries. It’s a nice piled cone of fried goodness with a French onion-y type dipping sauce.

Absolutely AMAZING! My two friends and I went for happy hour and got the curry fries, potato skins and the mushroom pizza. Phenomenal. Delicious, well portioned and very affordable. We each got a drink and after splitting the bill 3 ways it came up to $ 16. You cannot get a better deal in NYC. Will definitely come here again.

Came here for lunch with some coworkers. PROS: — Happy Hour drinks starts from lunch time to 7pm I believe. It was the only place we found around here that starts during lunch time. We had a couple glasses of white wine [either $ 5/$ 6 a glass during happy hour]. — Maine Crab & Avocado Rolls $ 14 [yellowfin tuna sashimi] — MUSTGET! It’s really good. Small bites though. There were 4 pieces only. Only gripe was there was a couple of crab shell pieces stuck in the roll. THEOKAY: — Pulled Pork Taco [3 Tacos] — It was alright. Soft Shelled Tacos. Very messy eating this as the pulled pork was falling out on the side. CONS: — Mediterranean Plate Salad [hummus, lentils, tabbouleh & cucumber yogurt] — Mostly a lot of dipping. The LENTILS and TABBOULEH were NOTGOOD. It tasted like Chinese herbal medicine and a little on the bitter side. The only decent dip was the cucumber yogurt and hummus. This dish needs some work.

If you’re looking to enjoy brunch with unlimited drinks and without the loud music Punch is definitely your place. The very low music was a new experience for me considering all brunch spots I have been to require me to put some extra base in my voice to be heard. I left Punch saying wow what a great place for all ages and I especially loved that the crowd was very diverse. The mimosas were delicious and although our server was in charge of many tables he did his best to make sure our glasses were constantly filled. Their brunch menu also has a great variety of choices. My table ordered burgers and the chorizo hash and had zero complaints.

1st time coming here was recently on a Friday around 5pm. As soon as I walked in I fell in love with this establishment. I sat at the bar because I was meeting with friends for drinks. My bartender was extremely sweet and attentive. I never had to track him down to order a drink. He was ALWAYS on top of it. I believe his name is Jamison but don’t quote me on that. I ordered the shrimp dumplings which were great. I love dumplings so anytime I see them on the menu I have to order them. This place fills up fast after 5pm. This a great spot to grab a drink after work if you work in the Flatiron district. I would consider it a chic or trendy bar. Upstairs this establishment has a wine bar that I did not get to check out BUTWILL upon my next visit.

Although my drink of choice isn’t on the happy hour menu, I love to come here during happy hour. Where else would you find an Irish bartender named Jameson!!! Jameson is the coolest, he and the Makers 46 keep me coming back. Jameson introduced me to the Makers 46 and my oh my how the quality of my alcoholic life has improved ever since I let that Makers 46 in. I’ve snacked on the fish and chips which is absolutely delicious.
