The Bartender was really mean. Acted like I was bothering him for just being there. He was also annoyed at everyone including the waitress. I would not recommend ever going to this place.

It has in Aselina resturant one of the most relaxing and unpretentious bar on the east side. The bar tenders and wait staff are very friendly and professional. They make you feel welcome and does not hustle patrons.

Gonna keep this one short.
Pros: Liked the ambiance, they had plenty of seating, and server was very attentive to our needs without no prompting. Drinks were good, although some of the drafts they did not have available.
Cons: Drinks took awhile to come out sometimes, seemed like they may have been understaffed at the bar.

Pros: Happy hour til 9 with ½ off cocktails and $ 5 wine. The Half Windsor my friend got was refreshing and nicely balanced.
Cons: The Mexican Mule I ordered was bland with no ginger whatsoever. Also the bartender seemed angry at us from the get-​go. Weird.

Wish I could have given zero stars.
They lost our reservation and made it seem like it was our fault and it wasn’t their problem. Not only was the manager rude, he seemed clueless about what was going on and how customers should be treated.
Needless to say, will not be going back ever!

This was a wonderful bar. It was unique, with a lot of sports memorabilia. Terrific happy hour. I ordered the porn star martini (not sure about the name!) and we had the stuffed pretzels. They were delicious. It was a good thing there were only 3 or I would have eaten ourselves silly. Took a while to get the pretzels though. Excellent bar-​we would return for sure!

One of the better places in the hood. The drinks are good and strong. Also, fairly priced. The bartenders are all really cool too. Makes the experience for me. I like this spot.

Decent. The bartender was friendly and nice enough, though he couldn’t understand what I was saying because the music was turned up so high (even though it was around 6:30 PM). I didn’t find the staff to be super friendly, or helpful, or interested in patrons in general, but the atmosphere is fun. The set-​up is great with the upstairs being able to see downstairs.
If I’m ever in the neighborhood I would stop by if I can’t find anything else, but wouldn’t specifically seek it out.

Came here for an event at the bar. Very nice bar and great service, but our alumni group was too much to handle for the bar. Not good for large events. I can see the bar being more ideal for coming with a few friends.

I am not a big fan of the Gansevoort hotels as been to the rooftop of both the park avenue and downtown locations and it was not my scene. This place which originally housed a champagne bar that came and went quickly is another story. If I was to open a bar after winning the lottery this would be what I would design. It is well designed as the space is small by sports bar standards but still comfortable enough to have a 8 seat bar plus tables for 40 or so more people. Before flat screens this place could not exists as the 10 plus tvs would take up most of the space. The drinks are good as have a nice variety of six beers ranging from lite macrobrews (bud light) to local beers (brooklyn IPA). All the bartenders are friendly as get no attitude. Menu is basic bar food with good burgers. I work nearby and come here often as have decent happy hour with all the beers for 5 dollars from 5 – 8 plus discounts on the wines and cocktails.
