DOESANYONEWORKHERE? I am trying to exchange an item I received for Christmas and have tried unsuccessfully for two weeks now to get a hold of anybody at this company. I submitted 2 online requests, tried calling them all day for multiple days, AND have emailed them. ANDYET I HEARNOTHING! All I want is to exchange the color of a scarf I received for Christmas — this is ABSOLUTELYUNACCEPTABLE customer service.

Unfortunately, I have to agree with Ann N. I ordered three gifts from this company in late November, and received them — a number of days later than promised — in December. I needed to exhange two of the three items, so as instructed, I shipped them back for an exchange — well within the exchange window, and using the provided return/exchange FedEx label. FedEx confirms that the package was received by the company in mid-December — almost three weeks ago. I have heard nothing since. My «account» online reveals no exchange being processed, and as Ann N. notes, customer service is an illusion: no one ever answers the phone, returns a voicemail, or responds to an e-mail. Now I’m in the position of not having long-promised gifts for people, and needing to contest hundreds of dollars on my credit card because I shipped back items for exchange and never received anything in return(nor have I received a refund). I can’t understand how people can do business this way. Beware! Editing my review to say that I finally figured out how to reach a human being at White + Warren. Call the New York phone number(which I could find nowhere but this Unilocal listing): 212.398.3295. Wait for the prompt for«website customer service»(which comes after the directory listings), and choose it. That got me an actual person. Granted, I was then given the amazing explanation that I had had no responses from the company for all of this time because they were«closed for the holidays» and are only back in the office this week(and apparently«closed for the holidays» meant not just no customer service for weeks, but also no exchanges/returns processed during that time) — not that that is indicated anywhere at their customer service number, on their website, or in response to e-mails. But if you’re out money, at least you might finally get ahold of someone. I would still never order from them again.

I ordered a Christmas gift from this company(well within the time limits for Christmas delivery) based on a recommendation in one of the NY newspapers. I do tons of shopping online, and this has to be the worst experience I have had in years. Customer service is non-existent. The gift never arrived. In spite of calls(customer service was never open during their recorded«business hours») and emails, no one from the company has yet responded. Of course Christmas is over now and I have to worry about being charged for an item that was never received and is no longer needed or wanted. Steer clear of doing business with such an unreliable and unresponsive company.
