WeWork Meatpacking

Great space for startups and companies looking for a relaxed yet intimate environment. The staff is extremely helpful, and friendly, and the building always hosts great networking opportunities. WeWork is not just an office space, it’s a community. Although there aren’t as many common area spaces in Meatpacking as other buildings, there are several couches on almost every floor, as well as phone booths for private conversations when you need to step out of your office space.

Very welcoming and dynamic office environment. It’s fun to be in the same building as so many young people from such diverse backgrounds. Also, there’s dogs that sometimes run around the building which are awesome. Not to mention that there’s a game room on the second floor and a bar on one of the higher floors too.
At the time, the company I was working for had wanted to design their own office and WeWork did a great job in helping to realize their vision. Their staff was very knowledgeable in fulfilling any requests and carried these out promptly.
Not everything is so perfect all the time though. There was some issues with their HVAC system so the temperature was a bit off for some time. Several people in our office had trouble connecting to the printer and IT wasn’t able to solve that. And probably my biggest glaring problem was that my laptop was stolen from here despite having locked the office it was in. This was during a period of construction there but in the end, they weren’t able to help me find out who took it because of some issue with their security cameras. This was back in January or so of 2012. Anyway, I’ll give them 4 stars despite that.
