I take my children here almost daily to play in the playground. I have a great time playing in the water too! There are always toys provided by the park for the kids to play with and leave when they are done with them.

Forest Hills, NY
Recently re-​opened in Spring 2010, this park has been revamped to include 2 half courts for adults, a kid’s (12 and under) half court, an older kid’s gymboree set, water sprays to cool down during those scorching days, and a sandlot for younger kids. I almost never see this place too crowded, so whether you’re looking to play some ball after work, or want to take your kid to the park, this is a great place to hang out. Enjoy the neighboring Liberty Community Gardens, which is an enjoyable sight to see. Not to mention, just south of West Thames Park is a fenced area for dogs to run and socialize with other dogs.
