Very cute little park. I do hesitate to refer to it as a park for anyone who doesn’t live nearby though.

This little area is nestled between some residence buildings and is very quiet and peaceful. There aren’t a lot of cars that pass through and depending on what time of day you come here, you practically have the whole little park to yourself. There are a few benches on both of the ends of the park area and a trash can or two for waste if you decide to take a lunch break here. It is reserved for quiet activities, no dogs or ball playing allowed as stated by the little signs in the park. The park is «partially gated.»

So peaceful place. Instead to eat in front the computer I have chosen here to eat my sandwich during lunch time.

Such a relaxing place to be on a nice summer day. The view is awesome, perfect for taking pictures, relaxing, and great for a date spot when your trying to get to know someone.

Rector Park is a pretty serene spot near the Liberty Street overpass(or whatever the municipal term for the walkway is), comprised of two stretches of greenery«reserved for quiet activities only» — that means no dogs or ball playing, folks.

Nestled in Battery Park City is this small park with a garden area to relax while you eat your lunch, read a book, or even take a nap. A sign also states quiet activity only. No dogs or ball playing allowed. There are plenty of benches and a large grassy area to sit down. Expect barely any car traffic here, since barely any cars travel on this side of the city. Foot traffic is also not common here since most of the people walking on the Esplanade along the Hudson river won’t even notice Rector Park just off the pathway. Quiet, serene, I’m really developing an appreciation for a side of New York City I would have never expected.
