I mean, who can say anything bad about a waffle that is topped with bacon and syrup? I did remove one star because my friend and I waited 15 – 20 minutes for our order, and the girls on the truck seemed to be in disarray. Not sure if something happened to their computer system or what, but the ordering and giving out of orders seemed to be haphazard. Everyone has an off day. The waffle was cooked to perfection, and the bacon was thick and crispy, topped with syrup and powdered sugar for added sugar high. It was definitely enough for two people to split as a snack, which was what my friend and I did. Price was $ 8.50; that hurts though. Overall, great to treat yourself, but I don’t think I would really chance the truck down.

Got a wmd(waffle of massive deliciousness) and oh my god was it good. We only had to wait about a minute for the cook to make it and out in the cold that’s not too pleasant– but oh man was it worth it. There was the option of a pre made waffle so those may be colder, but the first bite into my massive plate was warm and fluffy and wonderful. Very fresh tasting fruit though the banana did have a few discolored bruises that didn’t look as appetizing but they tasted just fine. The fudge on top made it even better– warm gooey fudge on top of whipped cream, yum. I would recommend sharing it though unless you’re prepared to down a waffle the size of your head. Didn’t get a chance to try a dinge but I’m sure the smaller size wouldn’t change how good it tasted.

Who doesn’t love a good story about someone who quits a desk job to start a food truck business? Not just any food truck, a waffle truck. I mean… wafels. & the toppings are … dinges. I don’t know what makes a Belgian waffle Belgian, but I’ve heard that the liege wafel is the one to get. Tried the… Liege Wafel with Spekuloos Spread: The wafel was warm, soft, and chewy. I wasn’t expecting to like it so much, but it was delicious. The first dinges is free. Each additional dinges is $ 1. Each wafel is about $ 6. It’s a bit too pricey for me to snack on regularly, but great if I want to indulge myself.

The cart is located very close to Lincoln Center. $ 2.50 for a small cup of coffee. The coffee tasted very strong, which was fine with me. The guy working in the truck is very nice and courteous. I’ve tried the waffles at different locations, and they always taste great.

Any Wafels and Dinges stop is a stop worth taking. Any chance for spekuloos is a guarantee of an improvement in your status – emotionally, physically, categorically, metaphorically. The guys who work this truck(they’ve all been guys, to my eyes) are cordial struggling-artist types, and along with that comes the slightest lackadaisical attitude that means inconsistent open times and occasionally not-piping-hot wafels. But look. If you want to feel better about yourself or the world, don’t let my slightest criticism slow your approach to the truck. Get there and wafel it up.

You really can’t go wrong with a quick trip to the Goesting Cart on 66th and Broadway! It’s a bit of a dig into the wallet, depending on what you get, but I have yet to hate a single waffle I’ve ever had from here or any other location. I enjoy the ample seating behind the cart; excellent for people watching and enjoying that giant, sweet, and wonderful carb bomb! :-)

If you are visiting NYC, this is an absolute must. The waffles are to die for! First topping is free, then $ 1 for each additional, up to $ 3 for unlimited toppings. Portions are very generous. This is a street cart, but there is plenty of shaded seating(trees & umbrellas) behind the cart.

Warm, chewy, dense wafels. Great for breakfast or an afternoon snack. Plenty of toppings to choose from. Try to catch a performance at this location(Richard Tucker Square)!
