Very friendly staff and decent variety of food but prices fluctuate depending on which register you go to.

I love variety at least as much as the next person, but they closed down; on ½/13 the City Marshal took possession for the landlord. Civic is my fall back but the made to order salads are not as good.

Came here after constantly passing it by, and never going in. I always got the pasta salad in the cold bar. Pasta, some broccoli, and marinated grilled chicken. They have a huuuge selection of food: Chinese, Japanese, Mexican, Italian. Whatever you wanted, they probably have it. Seems like the place I’d want to go to at night just to grab some food and snacks. If they’re open that late though…

This spot is definitely the new kid on the block when it comes to the deli’s in this area. The opening of this store had us all biting our nails with anticipation for over a year. And when it finally opened– it was definitley well received. There are, as i have said before, TONS of deli’s in this area, but surprisingly at lunch times they are all bursting at the seams! You’d think that they would be somewhat less crowded now that more and more keep popping up! With that said, this location has a dining area and lots and lots of choices for those coming to lunch in groups. There is something for everyone here. While I still cant get myself to LOVE deli sushi, i do love having several options(does YOUR deli have hibachi?) Variety café definitely has a wide assortment of eats available, making its name: Variety, a suitable one.

The newest TriBeCa deli that has taken the world(and by world I mean me) by storm. They have an excellent selection of foods, from a mongorian bbq, to an amazing deli selection, and a huge salad bar for all you herbivores out there. Thus far, the Chicken Reuben may have been my favorite sando. Great price, lots o flavor, and def. enough that I don’t feel like I just had a salad and am hungry again(yes, this is a jab at the herbivores). Make sure you pay attention to your order though, because an unsuspecting person may take yours, leaving you saying«OHCOMEON!» They also have a chinese/amerrrican hodgepodge of eats next to the salad bar, and the mac n chee may look great, but is lacking somewhat in the flavor department, if you know what i mean. Just beware the lines during the lunch rush. Contrary to the review page, more than three people know about this place, so if the line looks a little hectic, stay cool, stay clean, stay focused. Frankenstine, say goodbye to your friends.
