This store is managed by shady business practices and people. I tried to return a dress here that I bought at a different location and the woman told me she wouldn’t for personal reasons she had with the other store manager. She recommended I go to the original location which is not near the one I was returning to. It took 45 minutes of calling the other store who called «the boss» to get the woman to return the dress for store credit. I don’t recommend supporting this business and their questionable practices. I certainly won’t be in the future.

This place rescued me!!! I desperately needed a new pair of pants while en route from the UWS to NJ and Philly (the village was just a stopping point). Normally I wouldn’t pay the ticket price I did for the pants, but I’m a happy camper. The sales clerk was super helpful in calming me down :)
While waiting for my monkey to rejoin me, I browsed, and will probably dream of the items on the racks. Hooded, wool Michael Kors jackets marked down $ 180, brand name puffers, FUR jackets and more. (Can I just say that one reason NYC is so awesome is that people wear fur without worrying about what others think…) I so so so wanted to drop close to a G, but resisted and left with my single pair of pants.
Like I said my pants were a little pricey, but the key to boutiques like this one (in general, everywhere) is that you can actually negotiate. Typically if you buy a few items, you can get some discount.

i am new to the neighborhood, upper west side, had seen the store front before and kept wanting to check it out. i finally went in on Friday and initially it looked like a bunch of dreck, but as i went further back in the store i started to see more upscale dresses. One of the saleswomen, was very nice but a little aggressive. I don’t really like to be bothered every time i set my eyes on something for a second. She obviously knew her style and was actually very good, but like i said, quite aggressive. I tried on 2 dresses and loved both of them. As i came out of the dressing room the same sales woman was there and greeted me with an overwhelming excitement about how great the dress looked on me. I think if i did not agree i would have been more suspicious. but given that i did agree, not sure if it was sincere or if she says that to everyone about everything they try on. Each time i did present an issue with the dress, she always had a solution, which were actually good suggestions, but again, not sure if this is part of the sale. I bought the two dresses and the man that checked me out was very unfriendly, no smile. I asked if he could leave the dresses hanging and he said «no» then added that «we are out of the bags» which i’m not sure i believed, very strange for a dress store. As he handed me back my credit card, i said «thank you» he didn’t even respond and never once said «thank you» to me for my purchase, not once! That kind of stuff really bothers me. As i was leaving the original saleswoman did give me a very friendly «thank you.» I guess i would go back, but be forewarned. also not sure about return policy. Another funny tidbit though, based on a previous review, was that someone came in to get the security tag removed from a previous purchase, i guess it must happen fairly often. I did hear them say «thank you for being nice about it.»

My girlfriends and I went into this store on a Sunday. They had some great sales, and three of us bought some clothes. I bought 4 dresses (2 at regular price) and would say that between the 3 of us we spent about $ 800.
The 2 sales women were pretty nice and helpful. But the attitude changed after the sale was done.
The turquoise dress I was buying was missing one of the buttons, so Natalia, one of the sales girl, gave me another one.
When I got home, I was trying on my new dresses and guess what? One of the buttons of the turquoise dress wouldn’t close because the buttonhole was too small. So I went back to the store the next day.
There was a different girl working at the store, I explained what happened and when Natalia showed up, she was not all friendly and smiley as the day before, she didn’t even apologize for the trouble. It was not her fault that the dress was cheaply made, but don’t you think as part of customer service, she should have been nicer to a client?
A couple of days later, I wanted to wear the dress. The security tag was still on the dress!!!
Friday I went back to the store. I told Natalia what happened. She said to me very casually, «these things happen». Well they shouldn’t happend when a customer changed the dress TWICE already. Or at least apologize. I was getting upset mostly because of her nonchalant attitude. I made a comment «I don’t feel like wearing this dress anymore» and she told me «It’s no big deal, these things happen.»
Not once did she say sorry, sorry this happened, etc. etc. She’s obviously a stupid sales person for not realizing how many future sales she has lost. I told the friends who went with me the first time about this, and they will never go back. In fact, one of them was planning on going back with more friends.
