Yes it’s like entering a hobbit hole with all those sandals but it’s actually a dwarf’s jewelry shop. Glorious gold and slivering silver horded by Smaug himself is used to make unique pieces even an elfin prince or princess would be proud to wear. Just make sure you don’t pocket any golden rings left on the ground or Smeagol WILL follow you.

I wasn’t in the mood to shop, but when I passed by Soixante Neuf some invisible tentacle reached out, grabbed me by the ankles and pulled me in. And I was SOOOO thankful that it did. I spent about 60 minutes in this tiny establishment, looking through the jewelry sample sale that had $ 50 to $ 250 pieces marked down to $ 10 to $ 50 bucks. I walked away with some earrings and two gorg necklaces, the likes of which I’ve seen nowhere else. Laura, the shopgal, was very nice and patient with me. She cleaned what I bought, as well as the necklace I wore into the store. Apparently, their jewelry is all made right in the Village. The shop also carries sandals, bags and blouses. But it is postage stamp size. I think you could have 5 people max shopping in there at once.

Quick update: I have now worn the black onxy ring twice and have received many compliments each time I wear it. Nothing like a little validation. I mean. Not that I need validation, right? Right?! ;)
