Moved here 3 months ago and my experience couldn’t have been worse. Incredibly loud jackhammer noises early in the morning until mid afternoon, drug dealers outside of the buildings at night, other day someone got shot on the other side of the street! The police put papers everywhere alerting of what happened and also informing about people who were arrested because they were selling drugs. This is beyond absurd! I was supposed to feel safe and I am realizing I need to move out as soon as possible. This neighborhood is dangerous and the building has literally zero security. Doors are always open and access is easy. People don’t clean up their pets mess on the floor, so you have to watch where r u walking! I’m definitely moving out soon!

Lived there for two years. If you’re straight out of school it’s great because it’s so cheap for the size of the place. However, the elevator breaks down constantly and there is always a cloud of weed smoke in then buildings. If you ever need anything fixed don’t call the main office, you’ll get nowhere. I’d recommend talking to the building manager, Anthony, instead. He seems to be the only one with his stuff together.

I’ve lived here for five years and just moved out. We were paying 3,000 a month and I feel it wasn’t worth it. I just wish the prices weren’t so high because there are a lot of bad problems here. We had a lot of problems with dog feces outside not being cleaned up, loud music, etc. The laundry room was always broken. There was urine in the stairs constantly. We also didn’t feel safe there. With all of the issues though, we did meet some wonderful people whom we will miss very much. I wish things were different there. I also have to say that the people at Urban American(the legal dept in New Jersey, not the office at the building). were always nice to us and really helped us out. The maintenance men are wonderful too. We will miss them also. As for Anthony, who manages there, when he found out we complained he took it out on us. He even told my husband I was a «liar». Now I know why tenants are afraid to complain there. He even refused to help us when we moved out. Thankfully the legal dept helped us.
