Tudor Cleaners

I’ve been coming here for the past year since I moved to Tudor City and it’s convenient, however after my most recent experience I will walk a few extra blocks and take my business elsewhere. Last week I picked up a pair of $ 200 slacks and noticed that the leather trim around the pockets was completely torn apart. I went back and all they could do for me was reimburse me for the $ 6.50 I paid to dry clean them. Aside from this incident I have experienced a few other things that would prompt me to never return:
–I brought in a shirt that comes with a fabric belt which I had brought in and upon picking it up the belt was missing. They ended up having the belt at the factory where they do the dry cleaning, however I had to wait a few days to get it.
–They charged me $ 35 to hem a $ 75 dress
–I brought in a jacket that I wanted to get tailored and they told me there was no way to fix it. I then took it to another tailor down the street and they instantly took the jacket and fixed it perfectly.
The owner is nice but the prices are not worth the poor quality you get here.

If living in Tudor City… you have two options… MB Fashions or Tudor Cleaners. Go with TC. MB was bleeding me dry with their astronomical prices but more importantly, TC does great work and as mentioned in an earlier review, an overall super friendly staff.

Yeah a bit too expensive. they need to have some specials/​coupons!

OMG, I had been going there for years, but recently my coat came back totally messed up! The white print turned pink and when I complained, all he did was to give me $ 25 back after holding it for two months!
Not only my coat is permanently damaged, there was no customer service. I will never ever go back there again.

Friendly staff and gets the job done!
The price is a bit high, but that’s expected because of the area. If you live in the Tudor City Area– it’s the most convenient location ever!
They are efficient and clean everything– fur, suede, jackets, etc. I got a pair of pants altered here too and they came out great!
No complaints, but I’m sure any other cleaner will do just fine. :-)
