Disclaimer: I visited this dry clean BEFORE I started reading the reviews and I have to say, had a little heart attack reading the lower-rated ones. I was very skeptical reading the reviews because every post was inconsistent with the previous one I read. I dropped off a dress to get pressed, 2 skirts and a shirt to get drycleaned. One of the skirts I brought in was a 2-piece /color pencil skirt(black and white). The guy asked me if I had taken it to the drycleaner’s before, I said no. He very honestly informed me that the black might dye onto the white part of the skirt and told me they would do some sort of chemical testing on it before drycleaning it. I of course did not want to risk having chemicals dye my skirt so I said I’d go somewhere instead. It cost about $ 13 to get the dress pressed(pretty pricey if you ask me), shirts and skirts around $ 7 each — pretty standard. I dropped off my stuff on Saturday and got them delivered for free on Monday(I live just a few blocks away). Even though I was having panic attacks while reading some of the reviews here, I’m glad I got my stuff back clean and safe!

Live in the neighborhood and have been using them for dry cleaning for over a year. Great service and my clothes are always clean and never shrunk.

I’ve been going here for a few years since the new management. The owner is really nice and friendly even though her English is not perfect. She’s very good at what she does — I’ve had her tailor my shirts and suits(blazers and trousers), and she’s done a great job every time. She’s not cheap(I think), but I go back every time because I know it’s going to be worth it. One time, my coat button fell off and I just walked in saying«I have leave soon, can you fix it for me?», and she literally fixed it while I was still wearing the coat. She didn’t even let me pay for it. The guy in the front, he’s nice most of the time, but sometimes he’s a bit cranky.

this place is terrible. they ruined a brand new dress I had to wear for a wedding. Not only that, but I asked for it to be done by Thursday 5:30pm, and it didn’t get back until 6:30. My dress came back with big grease stains on the straps and strange dirt marks on the back. I was so shocked and disappointed, and ended up not being able to wear the dress for the wedding. Never going back.

Been going here for about a year and have never had a bad experience. Granted, I’ve only had dress shirts laundered, but I’ve had plenty of places screw that up.

In a neighborhood that is overrun with options for a dry cleaner, it amazes me that Highpoint would treat their customers so poorly! I was leaving for a three week business trip and called them because of their 24 hours promise. I sent in my clothing at noon on a Saturday and specifically asked that they be ready by 6pm on Monday. Well, 6pm rolls around and not only are my clothes not ready, but the man on the phone denies telling me that they would be! Then, he hung up on me and stopped answering the phone! When I FINALLY got my clothing back they insisted that I pay full price and threatened to hold my clothes hostage(even longer) unless I paid over 30 dollars(way overpriced) to get my clothing back RIDICULOUSLYLATE. I’ll stick with Park East from now on FORSURE.
