Came here a few weeks with a friend. We were seated after 15 – 20 mins. for brunch. The price was pretty reasonable, champagne brunch for 24.95 this included unlimited drinks for 90mins and an entrée. The waiter was very attentive and was patient in our requests for photographs. The food was ok. I would go back again.

Deciding on a restaurant for NYE in the city of ten zillion options is no easy feat. It takes determination, review of numerous reviews, narrowing it down, and the finale: a reservation. We’re talking about the last/first dining experience of the year here. It better meet expectations! Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case at Tre. From food to quality of service, it was the most disappointing experience I’ve ever had in a restaurant. Appetizer of calamari was chili flavored tire rubber. Yum, my favorite! You better wear dentures for this. The entries(we had salmon and chicken whatever) were subpar and unseasoned– my dining companion didn’t even finish hers. We decided to avoid the prix-fixe, as we wanted to try things off the regular menu. That meant that around midnight, when the servers went around filling champagne flutes, we were left empty handed. In a restaurant where every patron(even those sitting at the bar not eating) is holding champagne and you are not, you feel like the customer service could be stepped up. Surely they had more for two more people? Why cheapen the experience? Eventually we flagged our speed-walking server and asked if we could have champagne too. After a sigh and an eye roll she poured us some. Thanks for nothing, lady! We made friends with the couple next to us, cheering each other after the countdown. That was the highlight of the whole night, Tre was the lowlight. Never again.

Boyfriend and I were visiting friends for a weekend and wanted to plan dinner for a big group on Friday night. Kudos to me bc I was able to confirm a reservation for 8 without having to give my credit card… and above all, everyone enjoyed their order. One thing we all fought over was the calamari. Three of us ordered the Milanese(fried chicken breast). Loved it despite feeling arthritic to cut through the crust. The outdoor setup makes for a nice group setting. There were only two large groups seated outside that night.

Cute place for late morning brunches! Originally, my friends are I were supposed to go to Sweet Chick for Saturday brunch. But that place was SO crowded that we decided to go to Tre instead. It had just opened, and there was barely any people waiting. Plus, the«$ 25 bottomless mimosas brunch» sign caught our attention. The interior décor is adorable here-very modern and chic. I especially love that they have an outside garden! I wasn’t able to get a chance to visit it outside, but definitely need to come for a second visit in order to check it out. They also have strings of light bulbs outside, in the garden. The $ 25 deal is great! You can choose whatever brunch entrée you want, and this comes with the endless champagne/mimosas! I decided to get the pancakes, and they were amazing! Chocolate and bananas brulee in champagne… it was like an amazing nutella banana pancake! The pancakes themselves were very fluffy too(texture-wise). The mimosa was amazing! Sweet and bubbly, with a slight honey aftertaste! I had 4 full flutes, and my friends had so much more! They are truly addicting! I would love to come back and try the other menu options! The burger and pasta seem like great options, and they’re definitely on my list for next time! Service is great and very attentive! And the restaurant, itself, does get quite crowded within the first hour, so make sure to come early(like I did)!

Tre turned out to be a warm, cozy restaurant with excellent food. Our group of two couples recently had dinner at Tre on Thursday, January 20. We had to catch a show near by, so Tre was convenient. I made a reservation with some hesitation because of the booze brunch reviews. Lauren, who works the front room, handled the booking. Absolutely no attitude, just warmth. Our experience was totally different from what I expected. The owner who tended the bar, had cool Brazilian jazz softly playing in the background. Good sign. Instead of a bunch of drunk hipsters, we saw an older, very cool crowd at the bar and seated at the tables. The food and wine menu was smart and very well priced. Lots of comfort food and terrific wines. Our order was taken promptly. Our group had the short ribs, roasted chicken and salmon. We drank a rose(can’t remember the name) and a Barbera de Alba. We shared an excellent Tiramsu. Everyone was extremely happy with the high quality of the food and wine. In fact, we didn’t want to leave for our concert. Tre is the kind of place that invites customers to linger and enjoy the moment. We talked with the owner who advised that the best meal times are Sunday-Thursday evenings. I think he is right. As we left, we saw a couple outside reviewing the menu. Our husbands immediately told them, «Tre is a great place. Try it.» And that’s what I say to you.

Reservations ahead of time are key with their champagne brunches. The staff was helpful over the phone with setting up my reservations for a large party. They were also flexible with seating us on the day of the event. Food was amazing and staff is attentive to your needs during your stay there. Will be back again!

By far, one of my favorite things in New York is the people and food at Tre. Always exceptional. If you haven’t had the Fusilli Napoletani(fusilli with broccoli rabe and Italian sausage), you haven’t lived

This place was amazing! Came here for drunk brunch during santacon and also as my birthday brunch. Had an amazing time. My party and I were seated in the back which was great cause we could be as loud and obnoxious as we wanted without disturbing anyone else. It’s rare to find drunch places with good food and drinks, and this place had both! Shared a burger and the fusilli pasta which were both delicious. The unlimited mimosas were also surprisingly good as well. They definitely used a pretty decent champagne or orange juice. The service was also decent and they regularly refilled our drinks or quickly accomodated us if we asked for more. Also for $ 24, this place was definitely a good deal!

Awesome bottomless brunch spot! Went there on a Saturday. It starts getting crowded about 30 mins after opening so make sure to make a reservation. Mimosas were pretty strong, so for $ 23 fixed price it’s well worth it. For my entrée I had the rigatoni carbonara which was delicious! Pasta was perfect, sauce was creamy with pancetta, so good! My friends had the burger which they also enjoyed. Service was also really great. Someone was always refilling my mimosa, I don’t think my glass was ever empty! Overall, can’t wait for my second visit.

I love this place. Cozy, intimate atmosphere; the staff is friendly as hell; and the food is right on the money – and it doesn’t cost an arm and a leg either. Happy hour and lunch specials can’t be beat– $ 10 for a pasta and salad. Where can you go wrong?(Ps– Get the baked rigatoni with smoked mozzarella and meatballs and thank me later). It’s quaint and what I imagine a café in Italy would actually be like. Helps that the owner is from there. If you’re looking for good Italian in the LES with a good ambience, look no further than TRE.

Just visited Tre for the second time over the weekend and I am officially a fan. The location plus the prices plus the quality of the food — can’t beat it. Lets start with the ambiance. The place is cute. The restaurant as a whole is rather small but charming. My group got seated in the garden area on Saturday night and it was as if we had our own private room! The food… wow. I’ve had a few things here. The mini meatballs as apps are bomb and the sauce is well above average. The carbonara is one of the better carbonara dishes I’ve had. Those who didn’t get this wished that they did. It’s salty but INTOXICATING. I had a bit of my friend’s steak dish which was all sorts of delicious. It comes with broccoli rabe(amazingly seasoned) and bomb truffle fries. The mushroom truffle pasta dish is phenom as well. Oh, and the dip that comes out with the bread is an addicting garlic /hummus mixture. The pasta dishes are all under $ 20 — can’t beat it. The one thing I don’t understand is how this place isn’t crowded all the time. More for me!

The brunch was good, you can’t really ask for more with the deal you are getting. The staff was very festive and nice. I dont exactly remember what I got but the side salad and potatoes that came with it were my fav.

Stopped in here during happy hour. They offer $ 5 champagne, wine or draft beer. What I found alittle odd was that they only offered around 3 beers on draft really minimal beer selection for a bar. It was mostly empty around ~6PM so the wait staff was friendly and took our orders promptly. The atmosphere here is very intimate and a good date spot. We were seated right by the window but if weather permits I would highly recommend the outdoor seating, it was a chilly night ~55 °F and the seating out back felt comfortable when I walked through due to its extensive covering it was well shielded from the wind creating. We ordered calamari, a burger and 2 glasses of champagne because everyone likes a little bubbly with their meat. The burger was just okay. The fried calamari came lathered in a spicey creamy chipotle esq sauce which was pleasant but tasted a bit too rich towards the end and was not exactly what we had expected. This place earns point for a happy hour which runs until 7 and cozy date spot décor.

For $ 23 bottomless brunch, you can’t really ask for much more. The waitress was very good about refilling our drinks, and we didn’t feel rushed to leave before the two hours were up at all. I got the huevos rancheros, and they were good– the portion was a little on the smaller side, but I still felt satisfied. I just wish there were more menu options. I felt like I couldn’t make any changes(bacon instead of sausage, something other than bananas on the pancakes, etc), so I felt very limited. I probably wouldn’t go back again solely because of how limited the menu was. That being said, if there are things here you like, I recommend.

Came here on our first night in New York after dropping off our luggage. We ordered two different types of pasta and it was quite good! The pasta was fresh which I find makes a huge difference to the taste and texture of the dish. Portion was adequate, not very large but not too small either. Good for people who have an appetite to eat a bowl of rich flavored pasta :)

Cash only Came here for brunch at 12PM on a Sunday. There were plenty of seats when I arrived, but it quickly became packed. I opted not to do the champagne brunch, but it’s relatively cheap at $ 23.95 and the waiter was really quick at refilling the cups for my friends. I ordered the pancakes. It seemed really interesting because it came with banana champagne sauce, but honestly did not enjoy it. The pancakes were really thick and not that flavorful. Also, the banana champagne sauce was literally just mashed up bananas. There was a little bit of chocolate sauce and some pecans. Not very flavorful at all. Would not recommend the pancakes, but the other food looked decent so maybe opt for those. Also they don’t do coffee refills, so I remained tired throughout brunch.

You’ll typically hear some Italian during a weeknight dinner in this rustic, authentic, and really cozy Italian place. It’s comforting to see Italians in an Italian place. It’s also great for a quality, cheap bottomless brunch(aycd). $ 22 plus tax and tip(cash only!) for all the champagne you can have plus an entrée. There is a outdoor patio out back that is great for groups. If you’re solo or two people, sit at the bar. You get immediate refills and get to talk to the awesome bartender. I’ve tried the burger, french toast, and eggs — all are tasty. Nothing landmark, but all enjoyable dishes and good food. The space is pretty bright and lively during the day, and dark /charming at night. Its decorated VERY well. The atmosphere really adds to the place and to your experience.

I am always looking for new brunch spots and when the responsibility landed on me I was torn. Do we go somewhere tried and true or do we set forth in unknown territory? Italian for brunch you say? Color me intrigued. The menu is not very extensive(a few egg dishes, pastas, and pancakes) but I saw a burger which would satiate my hunger at the very least. Located on Ludlow, Tre is a very small unassuming store front. There was construction when we walked there so it was a bit difficult to pin point. Once inside, we were seated and served our mimosas. The space is very tight. I was sitting on the isle and kept getting bumped by servers and patrons alike. I am not sure if that is experienced at all the tables but there was no space for me to move in. I liked the brick walls and general ambiance of the space. They do have a small outdoor patio which was nice but we did not know it was there until after we had started our meals. Thankfully our server was friendly and poured freely throughout our meal which made up for the few elbow bumps I received. I got the sausage and broccoli rabe frittata and the guys both got the uova del ranch. Both meals were quite tasty although I wish mine had a bit more flavor to it. I think I would have gotten something else if presented with the choices again. The Uova had a very good sauce and from the few bites I had, I would have preferred that to my own dish. I would certainly try Tre again but maybe for dinner. I see that people rave about it. Brunch, while satisfactory, might have been enjoyed more at one of the tried and trues.

Tre is OK! Sorry I had to. Seriously though, this place is adorable. The rustic bar décor, whitewashed walls and intimate seating add up to a really quaint bruncharie. If you’re looking for a quiet place to bring a date and have a slow brunch this is it. This is not what we are normally looking for in a brunch spot. If you’re unfamiliar with my usual brunch manifestos, let me give you a quick rundown of why I believe it to be the best meal of the week; brunch is a sacred event that should be given respect and held to an extremely high standard, we wait for days to go out with our friends and love ones and expect the best time every time… Basically, I go to brunch to let loose and drink till I can’t feel the feels anymore. I want to give this place a better rating, I really do. The prices are reasonable, and the staff is pleasant enough… and yet something was just lacking. For starters, the place was almost totally empty when we showed up, yet they wouldn’t seat us until our third person was there. why? I’ll never for the life of me understand this rule; if you’re place is packed(read: PS450) then yeah, I get it. If you can run a restaurant with one server at 1:30 on a Saturday, I really don’t think that you’re planning on getting a huge brunch rush, so why not let me chill in a seat instead of awkwardly at the bar? The server was nice enough, but really didn’t have much to say. It seemed like she was preoccupied with someone or something else… but there was almost no one/nothing else to be occupied with. The food was OK, I had the uova del ranch nothing to write home about, but its kind of hard to mess up eggs(or on the flip side, make them amazing). The drinks were served out of a pitcher, which is not usually a problem, they did however seem to take their time getting to my glass which is a sin against the sacrosanct that is brunch(see manifesto above). Speed up the pours, play more lively music, and we can have a serious conversation about that fourth star(which I’m dying to give you, the potential is absolutely there for the taking). All in all this is a solid spot to bring your Midwestern out of town(or recent transplant) friends; they will feel right at home. If you’re looking for something a little more lively, look somewhere else.

Tucked away by having a low profile and being on a less-travel street, Tre was an amazing find. The atmosphere was intimate and almost romantic which was comical for my group of guys. We started with cheese dish which I can’t locate on the menu now. It was served in a small clay pot with several bread slices. The dish was good enough to just spoon from the pot — cheese, potatoes — devine! I went for the salmon cooked medium. Served with homemade gnocchi and cauliflower, the dish was heaven. Although I didn’t catch her name, the server was outstanding and attentive. She added style to an already classy joint. Tre is a must stop.

Came here for brunch Sunday with some friends. Cute little place on the LES. It’s a 90 minute bottomless brunch. Atmosphere– cute and cozy little place. I recommend doing the 12PM brunch over the 2PM. After 1:30 it started getting packed and claustrophobic. Food– I ordered the Tre burger which was a beef burger with goat cheese and spinach. It was pretty good. I like my burgers well done(I know what a disgrace), and it came medium well but I still ate it because I was starving! Not the best burger I’ve had but definitely not the worst. It came with fries and mixed greens. Pretty good, fries a little on the salty side. Drinks– bottomless champagne or mimosas are included in set price. We drank mimosas, they were great! Dessert– we had tiramisu and crème brûlée. The tiramisu was delicious. I’m still daydreaming about it! Must try. Crème brûlée was okay. Service– our waitress was very attentive and friendly. She never let our drinks get halfway done before refilling. Cash only by the way!

I came here after it had been recommended by a closer friends of mine. She said it was a great place to go, so on good authority I decided to go on a date here. Immediately entering the noise from the street is gone because of the nice heavy curtain they had right by the door. The buzz of diners hanging around the bar area made the place seem likely yet not crowded. The other patrons looked like young and hip professionals relaxing from a hard week. I had a reservation, but doubt it was necessary as it wasn’t too crowded immediately after work on a Friday. So happy hour wine, and appetizers came fairly quickly after ordering. The food was delicious — my personal favorite was the fried cheese bites, but i absolutely love fried cheese. I recommend for an intimate date night!
