Best penne pasta with vodka sauce in Brooklyn I recently purchased a plate a penny pasta with vodka sauce and it was delicious the portions are so large that I can feed at least two people or have lunch or dinner for two days even try the pizza with vodka sauce slice specially made by John the pizza maker

Awesome! No other words. True Brooklyn pizza in Dyker Heights takes me back to my childhood. The perfect balance of sauce and cheese, I love it. Absolutely come here to the corner of 13^th Ave and 77^th St and enjoy.

Their food is very good. I usually order from them on Seamless and I have never had an issue with them. One time I had not received a confirmation from Seamless that they received my order and when I called they were incredibly friendly and understanding. Apparently the app had been down for some reason and they sent the order over as soon as possible. Their garlic bread is also some of the best pizzeria garlic bread you will ever have!

Stumbled here by accident during Christmas. Delicious! Pizza was amazing. Can’t wait to get back.

Pizza is always fresh, the staff are very friendly. I love their daily specials, they give huge portions.

Tony makes the best pizza in town. his hero sandwiches are awesome and they come in a box .no more getting cheese all over the aluminum foil that you can’t eat .we love this place .we eat here every week… Denise and Tony

My favorite buffalo slice is this one here. Tony’s pizza is always fresh and tastes awesome. You can tell they care about what they make as some times you’ll see something new and not just the same slices.

Walked in from out of town and the guys were super welcoming. The pizza was top of the list. Fresh ingredients and pride in craftsmanship. I will be back!

Made a trip to this pizzeria after my dad’s great review of it! My boyfriend and I tried the buffalo chicken pizza, white pizza, vodka pizza, and Sicilian! The vodka pizza was out of this world, I’ve never had anything like it!!! Highly recommend trying this! Buffalo chicken was yummy as well. Nothing too special about the white pizza and Sicilian. But I am a bias L and B lover! For my dad brought home the grandmas pizza and the mozzarella pizza… both delicious too! The guys working there were friendly and efficient. Will be my new go to pizzeria in Brooklyn!

The people who work here are always nice. They all look happy. Food is great! Especially the vodka sauce pizza.

It’s a great pizza place to go to. Situated in a very convenient location and pizza is always fresh. Not much to complain about and service is always great. Staff is very friendly.

Mmmm… Brooklyn pizza. Nothing beats it. My boyfriend and I stopped at Tony’s after visiting the Dyker Heights Christmas Lights displays. We kept it simple with plain slices, which were huge and everything you wish for Brooklyn pizza to be: cheese that strings a bit when you bit it, sauce that is ever so slightly sweet, perfect crunchy crust… If ever we find ourselves in the neighborhood again we will surely stop at Tony’s for a slice.

After a night of walking around the neighborhood at the Christmas Lights Display of Dyker Heights, we were hungry, and luckily, Tony’s was opened.
We grabbed two slices of piping hot fresh mozzarella slices and decided to shameless eat them on the front porch. What absolute amazingness in such a simple slice! You can taste the freshness of the basil, and the cheese was melted perfectly. No grease to be had, and the slice passed the firm crust test!
More importantly, this establishment is a family run business, and you get that vibe from walking inside and seeing family pictures on the wall. They are actually in the back or behind the register, not working remotely like so many other places you’ve been to. Don’t hesitate to ask about the history, any of the staff will be more than happy to tell you about it.
I would love to try some of their other options during regular business hours, but hey! The Christmas Lights will be up for a few more days; I have my excuse — what’s yours?

Off night? I order a calzone and two drinks for delivery. Both drinks were incorrect and the calzone was soggy and didn’t come with marinara on the side. Maybe the marinara doesn’t usually come with the calzone and it was just forgotten but it definitely needed it; it was super bland and as mentioned, soggy.
Very disappointed.

Get the vodka slice! Ahh so perfect. Sweet but tangy sauce, and unlike other spots in Brooklyn (*cough cough* Krispy Pizzeria), it doesn’t taste like it’s out of a can. I haven’t tried anything else there but I really don’t care. They get 4 stars for that slice.

Great neighborhood spot, nice staff, and and a solid vodka slice.
We got a fresh half vodka pie, and each slice was a meal of its own. The sauce was perfect, not to sweet and not to tangy and the dough held together well
Solid pizzeria overall

I discovered Tony’s months back after reading some of the reviews on this site. This is currently my favorite Pizza place. The Grandma Pie is great, thin crust that is light and not greasy. The fresh mozzarella is generously applied along with fresh basil. We also like the calzones. Once again, not greasy and don’t weigh you down with grease. Also, they don’t over salt the food like so many pizza places. You can taste the ingredients without salt overkill.
Today I stopped in to grab a couple of slices, and now see new specialty pies on the menu. I had the Sophia Loren Deep dish. Fresh Mozzarella, sauce, fresh garlic, and fresh sliced tomatoes on a deep dish pie. It was awesome.
There are many good pizza places in Brooklyn, but I’m so glad this one is close to my home!

If you want great service, this is the place. But to be honest, the pizza is subpar. I only go here because it’s right down the street from my house. If not, I’d go to Frank’s which is located two blocks away.
I wish I knew what the original place was like. Tony’s took over ownership in the past year and I’ve so far had their regular cheese slides, the margharitas, grandma’s along with a few others and if I had to rate them out of 5, with 3.5 being average, I’d have to give the taste a 3.
I’ve also had their lasagna special and chicken rolls. The lasagna is solid for your neighborhood pizza joint. The chicken rolls are super bready but once you get to the filling, it’s pretty good. They normally don’t give you a side of sauce so make sure to ask for that.
And yesterday, I was really annoyed because their credit card machine was done. So I had to spend an extra $ 3 on ATM fees to pay for my food. I know it’s not their fault but they should have that taken care of. If I knew in advance, again, I would’ve went to Frank’s.
