EXCELLENT Sicilian pie ! Walked in when one was just coming out of the oven. Had an awesome corner piece, just added a little garlic and oregano & it was perfect ! Will be back again, staying on 74th&12th at a friend’s for the next few weeks while we are in town.

I have lived in Gravesend Brooklyn most of my life but moved to Dyker Heights with my girlfriend a year ago. I tried pizza at Krispy a while back. My opinion was just ok. Today my girlfriend had to attend a work event after work so I decided to give Krispy another shot because I heard there hot food was real good. I ordered the baked ziti with meatballs. I can tell you it was like eating macaroni and meatballs in a bucket of sugar. It was horrible. Don’t know who taught them how to make sauce but stay away. I ate half the food and threw the rest in the garbage. A pure waste of $ 13.75. If you are on 13th ave and want pizza or hot food try Mia’s on 13th and 85th st… It’s worlds better!!!

As a Brooklyn native and someone who personally loves pizza I can tell you there aren’t many places like Krispy. Delivery is always on time and the pizza is always hot and fresh. My personal favorites are their specialty pies like Buffalo Pizza and Chicken Parm but sometimes a classic grandma’s pie or Sicilian are the way to go. There dinner entrees are great as well, especially for something like Eggplant Parm or Veal. The only downside is they do not have the type of interior that you would go for a sit down date. This is more of a classic pizzeria. Overall great pizza whenever you need it, I will continue ordering from them.

One of the BEST Pizza spots in Brooklyn. I eat here once a week and not once was I disappointed with their food. To be fair, their customer service could use more smiles when customers come in but hey, the food is good, place is clean and prices very affordable and their delivery is fast.

Not just a pizza place. Better Italian food than most of the rest of America. I’m not concerned about sounding ignorant here so I’m going to go ahead and say this place is better than actual restaurants in Italy.

One of my favorite places to get authentic tasting Pizza in Brooklyn. One of my favorite dishes were the rice ball special, I’m not sure if they still have it. It was super cheap and filling. [update 2016] Haven’t been back to Krispy’s in a long time, but went there this past Saturday and it was packed. I ordered the fresh mozz pie and it was delicious, probably the best that I’ve had in a long time. Anyway, one thing that did upset me a bit was that it took them over 30 minutes to prepare my pizza, and I saw customers who came after me and left before me(who have also ordered pies). However, I’m not going to let this one incident tarnish my thoughts of this pizzeria. I just hope that this does not happen again.

Meh. The pizza from here is decent… it’s not bad or great. It’s expensive, though. There are less expensive pizza places down the street. Also, keep in mind this is a chain. I’ve had their mushroom pizza and it was average, nothing to rave about or to put down. If I don’t feel like walking further down the street, I will order it again. Last night I ordered calamari to go. It was really dry and chewy :(Very disappointing.($ 13.50)

Love this place so much that I had to leave a second review The pizzeria is very accommodating to orders. Their grandma pie is delicious… Nice and crispy with thin crust Their sauces are fantastic… Especially the vodka sauce By far my favorite pizzeria

Deff the food is good but Delivery SUCKS ! We ordered 4 slices: Fresh Mozzarella, Vodka, Buffalo and artichoke ! And a small order of Calamari which like I said was all great but it sucks to get cold food, thank God for my toaster oven but we received our food exactly one hour later just for 4 slices of pizza and calamari and we don’t live far from them ! So Best suggestion is to physically go over and either pick-up or dine in ! But like I said the Food is Great!

Krispy’s pizza is decent. Honestly I give it three stars not for the quality of pizza more because of the customer service. I am someone who really is forgiving and typically never gives any establishment a lower rating than its status on Unilocal(Krispy’s has an average 4 stars)! The customer service is horrible. The staff is short and almost seems mad that I’m ordering. Whoever answered the phone was extremely rude. I asked what were the sizes of pizzas and he just regular sizes ma’am. I’m sorry to say but I’m not impressed with the customer service and the pizza was lukewarm on arrival. I don’t know if I would EVER go out of my way to order from here, the staff really is unfriendly. :(

Usually my favorite pizza spot, and i would recommend it to anybody until last week. We ordered a pie, and everybody that had some got pretty sick.

Usually pretty good but ONLY if the owners make it or the Italian guy. Today someone else who made and cut the pizza handed us a burnt pie. To me, when they cut it, they are approving this pizza to be given to customer. He should have never of handed me a burnt pie. I would have returned it if I wasn’t home already. I’ll never leave again without checking it but they should not be proud to serve a burnt pizza, wasted $ 18 that day.

One of my favorite pizzerias in Brooklyn. I typically order a mushroom and pepperoni slice, beef patty, and/or a fresh mozzarella slice and I’ve never been disappointed. I only like thin crust and they’ve perfected it. It’s definitely«Krispy.»

I am shocked, I couldn’t believe my eyes when I opened the box. Obviously the pizza was bigger than the box, and ¼ of the crust was folded on top of cheese, sauce was all over and the crust is super soggy. when I moved in the neighborhood a year ago I made this place my go to spot, but lately very disappointing.

This place is amazing! I absolutely love everything I order here. Surprisingly they even make amazing soup! So far my favorite is the mushroom barley and chicken rice. Every slice/pie is amazing. All pasta dishes are great. You can’t go wrong. Haven’t ordered anything I haven’t enjoyed.

It’s just like any other pizzeria but They have the best calamari I’ve ever had in my life! Enough said, try the calamari! REPLY: I don’t know the proper way to reply to a reply lol. I first tried it in April and I fell in love with it. It sucks that it’s undermined. Hopefully my fellow Unilocalers will give it a try! It’s generous portions as well! :)

After a short motorcycle ride, I accompanied one of the gal pals in our crew for a late night snack near my house. She ordered a thick slice of pizza and beef patty; they didn’t have much options left near 11pm. Of course I had to try her food and write about it! They staff was friendly and looked very tired. The slice was too doughy for my liking but it’s meant to thick so what did I expect. I tried the carby part of the beef patty since I don’t believe in eating animals and it wasn’t a flaky beef patty shell but again, this was late at night so I didn’t expect much. Maybe their food taste better during day time? BUT if you ever get pizza in the city late at night, it will still be delicious.

The spinach artichoke slice is the best & a must get! The slice is also really big so you definitely get your money’s worth. Had this the first time I ever came here and it has been a favorite since. I’ve also tried other slices and they were just mediocre compared to the spinach artichoke one. They also have heroes, pastas & a variety of appetizers if you’re not in the mood for pizza. This place has a great dining area as well. Always clean & a great atmosphere. Would definitely recommend you to try this place if you’re around the area.

Best pizza ever. I love the pizza here so much, it almost hurts. It’s so delicious and so fresh! Best thing to get: Vodka slice. Their others are pretty good — the regular mozzarella cheese slices were what drew me into their pizzas, and their Vodka slices got me to stay. My word of advice: call in, order a pie and enjoy your delicious delicious pizza at home.

Krispy Pizza tastes decent, but I wouldn’t label it amazing, and it sure as hell is not NY’s best pizza. The customer service can be described as very«rough.» Quotes are necessary because I don’t think they’re intentionally trying to be rude, but they come off sounding like it. Pros: — Really good gravy(aka tomato sauce) Cons: — Pricey — Rough customer service — Found a hair in the pizza We ordered 4 pies of pizza: salad, Grandma, Vodka, and Pepperoni. My favorite of the 4 was the salad pizza — very refreshing and did not feel heavy. The others were only okay. Beware of the vodka pizza pie if you are a vegetarian, I do believe there might be small pieces of ground meat in it.

I LOVELOVELOVE their vodka slice and grandma slice! When I’m craving pizza, this is my go to place and those are my two favorite slices that I ALWAYS order. I like that their vodka slice is super saucy. The sesame seeds on the crust adds a good contrast. Their ingredients are always fresh. Their pizzas are hot and KRISPY! I’ve also tried their buffalo wings and a chicken Caesar salad. Their wings were and tender and pretty good for a pizzeria. I would definitely order the wings again.

«Best New York Pizza» is simply a narrow expression, used by people who quickly fall into the spur of one magical slice. I’ve been to my fair share of great pizza joints, but none of them subjectively the«Best NY Pizza.» My friend and I were in the neighborhood for the Christmas Lights(we know you hate us annoying Christmas lights tourists) on Christmas Eve, and we anticipated on Frank’s Pizza… only to find out they closed(way before they said they would close). We were hungry and tired and sighed back at the 4 blocks we saw Krispy Pizza… because 90% of the businesses were closed. Don’t underestimate the power of a name – the pizza here is said to be one of the best in the neighborhood and its authenticity definitely shined through their pizzas. We both had sicilian slices – Margherita for me, and Palermo for him. I absolutely loved the Margherita slice – the tomatoes were plump and you can taste the strong flavors of the basil, mozzarella, and the aftertaste of the onions lingering in your mouth. Best of all, it was thick and underwhelming, but I didn’t feel it was as filling as a regular slice would be. I would say it’s one of the greater pizzas I’ve had, but it only took a few bites. $ 3 is a little more than what I usually pay for a slice, but I thought it was well worth it – if only the slice was a little bigger. Will be back for the Grandma Slice! I’m so glad we ended up at this place because you can get a real Italian feel from the guys who work here and run this place. This place also happens to be surrounded by some real Dyker Heights gems, like Grandma’s Bakery and Aunt Butchie’s, so be sure to check those out if you still have room in your stomach!

The place is a very standard pizzeria, it looks like a pizzeria should. The food: Grandma Pie– The pie was OK, it was slightly bland. I thought the tomato sauce was on the thin side and it shoulda been more explosive with flavor. I also wish the bottom was crispy or crunchy, only corners were crispy. Prosciutto balls– these were really good and rustic. They are nothing fancy but they are simple, cheesy and gooey. Stuffed eggplant– Rice, meat, eggplant & fresh mozzarella. I really enjoyed this. The tomato sauce was really good, it was very robust but a tad sweet. The flavor of the eggplant, rice and meat worked well together. I say this is a must, especially for eggplant people.
