We attend a suprise birthday party for our friend here, so not sure if regular dinner service here would be the same. Anyway, for starters, we had the fried calamari, jerk chicken rolls, vegetable spring rolls, and the fish tacos… Calamari was good, breaded a little heavier than I like, but tender. The sauce accompaniment wes unusual, almost like a fra Diablo spicy seafood sauce over the typical marinara usually given elsewhere. The fish tacos were the winner here. Hot, crunchy, fresh, filling yet lig. Just perfect. Definitely would come here again if I was up this part of town.

My last visit to Park 112 was January 2016. On that visit, my bill totaled $ 100 for three plates of the Teryaki Lollipop wings(which are delicious) and six(6) drinks. I left a 15% tax which conveniently came out to a $ 15 tip and the total bill after tax was $ 125.00 even. $ 125 is easy to remember… which is why much to my surprise, when I checked my monthly bill, the total charge was $ 129.96. Seems someone took the liberty to increase my tip from 15% to 20%. I found this odd so I checked my previous two receipts from Park 112 and realized that additional money was added to those tips also. Not $ 5, but $ 1 on one and a few pennies on another. Regardless, three times in a row, my tip was altered. I have since reached out to Park 112, via email, on two occasions, informing them of the discrepancies, and I have not received a response either time. It’s a shame because I really liked(past tense) this spot, but they will not receive my business again. I would advise anyone visiting this restaurant to pay cash or double check your monthly statement of your credit card. Park 112 will NOT be seeing me again and I will NOT be recommending this spot to anyone ever again.

Amazing service from our waiter Zahir. Loved the environment and mood of the restaurant. Great place to dine with friends.

I came here today, 3÷12÷16 and I will never step foot into this place ever again. Don’t waste your time going to this restaurant. The service is horrible. They automatically charge 20% so the waitress has a nonchalant«I don’t care attitude». I had to beg for water. Had to go to the bar myself to get a drink bc the waitress was lazy.

I’ve been to The Park 112 twice — once for a corporate function and recently for a brunch party. I didn’t write the review based solely on the corporate function as I wanted to experience the restaurant under«normal» circumstances. I wasn’t overly impressed either time. For the corporate function, we had use of the entire restaurant and had pre-ordered the appetizers in advance. I was very disappointed in the fact that the apps all came out separately, with big breaks in between each serving. So, for example, let’s say 10 sliders came out at once and then you had to wait for like 20 minutes for the next 10 and so forth so naturally when they did come out everyone made a mad dash to get one — I couldn’t figure out why all the food wasn’t prepared and out at the start of the event. So now onto the brunch party. The place was packed, granted, and it isn’t a huge place in terms of size but it is larger than a lot of new places in Harlem. The service, though, is VERY slow. It took a good while to get menus and to place our orders and for as crowded as it was I could not understand why they only had one bartender working. Needless to say it takes a while to get a drink at the bar and since our waiter never asked for drink orders you’re stuck waiting at the bar for it. When we did receive our food orders the waiter never came to check if everything was ok or if we needed anything else. I ordered a burger and fries and it was ok although the fries were a bit undercooked. I do have to say though that the restaurant itself is very nice and very clean — even the rest rooms. They have a large(or maybe two) marble tables in the middle of the floor that are lighted underneath and are very pretty. They also charge $ 3 for coat check which is a bit much to me. There is something about this restaurant that just misses the mark and I’m not so sure if I would want go back again.

Came here for brunch, think the staff was a bit overwhelmed. The food took forever to come out but once it did, it was pretty good.

Sometimes it’s a good party. But the service is horrific. And, tonight at least, the wait time for food is absurd It’s a Friday evening and it’s not too crowded .most tables are filled, but not all. And yet, my group of 7 waited about 45 min for our food, and my husband, who arrived around 9 and ordered immediately, is still waiting for his food ay 10:38 pm. When we asked after his food at 10 pm, the delightful waitress said, «I’m not a chef, I don’t work in the kitchen.» My husband asked if it would be another 20 min and she shrugged. 40 min later, it’s not here. So we’re leaving. But I have been here one other time when I felt like dancing and ended up having a good time, so two stats instead of one.

I just left this establishment. I am truly disappointed. My friend tried to close out her tab. There were at least 3 additional drinks on her bill. She spoke with the bartender and for a minimum of 20 minutes she discussed her bill. They eventually figured it out. When she realized that they did not give her the credit card back, the owner takes her card and attempts to go to the back of the bar to figure out if she closed out her bill. We attempted to explain to him that it was already figured out and requested that he not leave with her card. He then argued with us. Instead of just asking his bartender right away… Very unfortunate… by the way, the lollipop jerk chicken wings were too spicy to enjoy…

Hmmm… How do I start. Park 112 started off as a very cute staple for me in central Harlem. Drinks, food, ambiance… I am here now for a birthday brunch and I have to say this place has drastically changed. Having the lobster scramble which used to come with a nice whole wheat slice of toast and a pretty presentation. Not anymore! Taste is completely different presentation was poor. Prices stayed the same though(go figure)…I asked for toast and was told that they didn’t have any… They were also missing 2 things from the menu. Sigh! Huge disappointment… This place is empty except for the party I am with and I can now see why. Park 112 if you are listening please do something about this. Central Harlem was at the beginning of a food revolution, now the good one’s have gone bad. Signed The Pretty Foodie «The Black Table»

When I arrived about 12:20pm today Sunday I was the first/only customer. The greeting/service was great! I ordered the French Toast which was ok at best. After paying the bill I went to use the Restroom which smelled like a public MTA bathroom, it wasn’t clean at all and pretty Gross… If you don’t plan on using the restroom and still want to eat here I also suggest you call first if you plan on going for weekend brunch. I attempted to check this place out two weeks ago on a Saturday at 1pm they where closed but their site says they open at Noon.

Let me start with a couple of good things I experienced. Multiple waiters and waitresses were always clearing our table after a drink and bite. This is where the good ends. Oh, wait the food was plated very, very well, and tasted good too. So yea… Last night was supposed to be a festive night as we were celebrating my future mother-in-law’s birthday. We booked a table for our party in advance and usual. We get there about 20 minutes early and we notice that there is a couple sitting at our table that clearly says RESERVED. Since we were early my girl and I decided to go to the bar, because we knew that when 9 p.m. hit, they would either get up or be asked to get up. Neither happened until I had to mention it to the staff. Let’s talk food. I previewed the menu before coming and was very excited with the pictures and the simplicity. On their bite menu, I saw pictures of Bone Marrow with in-house made chips and with what looks like some type of Tartare, but that was not on the menu. Also, the Jerk Chicken Lollipops stood out to me. They describe it as drumsticks… However when we ordered them, it was a mix of wings and drumsticks. There was literally only two drumsticks. I saw a picture on their site of probably lamb that resembled a meat lollipop. For the Entrées, my girlfriend’s mother, my girl and I, ordered the Surf and Turf. The description says Rack of lamb & sautéed shrimp served with potato au gratin & asparagus. I do understand that gourmet food normally comes with very small portions, but this normally is the case when there are multiple courses. We did not receive a Rack of Lamb, it was a half-rack. A traditional rack has seven to eight pieces of lamb rib. We were only given four pieces. To add insult to injury, my girl’s mother’s food came out super late. Everyone in our party was done eating before she even got her food. Not cool, when she was the star of the evening. Let’s talk drinks. Our bartender made all of our drinks very strong. It was not watered down, so I liked that. My only issue is that regular drinks are priced the same as their cocktails. So skip the regular stuff and go exotic, you will end up paying the same price anyway. The gratuity was included, which is not a big deal, I did not pay attention to see if it mentioned that on the menu. I forgot to add, that the music was cool. They play a lot of Harlem based artists, and I thought that attention to detail was cool.

Sat outside. The service was alright. Most in my group were pretty happy with their food, though one steak was overcooked. The molten lava cake was middling. So ordinarily this would be four stars, however… The expediter guy refilled my diet soda without asking, and I was charged $ 3 for each refill. Not only is this price exceptionally high, but to charge a per-refill price and not give the customer a bottle is also unusual — and so is refilling their drink without. So three stars. I probably won’t come back.

Places like this give me mixed feelings… because some elements of this place were amazing and some were terrible. Outside patio was amazing /those jerk chix wing lollipops??? super amazing and would get me back there alone. They were seasoned perfectly and the lollipop aspect was better than I expected. French fries were good. The terrible…1 beer on tap that was warm in a warm glass. Ugh My date got the lamb ribs that looked great on other Unilocal pics but all she got was 2 ribs that were all fat. She didnt even eat them. The service was just OK The interior was nice and the crowd seemed cool. I guess i would go back if i was craving those jerk wings. Other Unilocalers reviews are accurate.

Just left The Park 112 which was a very pleasant experience. Our bartender/waiter Enok(e-knock) was super attentive and a class act and seems to know a lot about the service industry. He treated my girls and I to some lemon drop and bourbon shots on him which is always appreciated. I ordered the jerk prawns and grits which had a good balance of flavor and spice. I also ordered the cornbread which was yummy it’s a little on the sweet side as they use like a candy topping on top. So one entrée mimosa and cornbread came up to about $ 30 not bad… Nice décor, it wasn’t crowded so there was no line on a Sunday afternoon

Such a beautiful place and really wanted to have an event here but my first(and last) experience was not one that will make me come back. 1st. I called up to the establishment on the night of the Mayweather vs Pacquiao which I didn’t care about but I knew multiple places were going to be packed because of it so I needed to know if this was going to be a nice place to have a glass of wine with a friend. The hostess answered the phone and I asked if there was a cover for tonight. She told me they weren’t showing the fight and hung up. So I called back because I couldn’t believe it. She answered and before I could say anything she said the exact same thing«We are not showing the fight» and hung up on me again. This should have been a red flag but I had a friend meet me there anyway. We get to the door and there IS a cover charge AND they ARE showing the fight. So I asked why when I called was I told the opposite. I got a half ass response saying they weren’t promoting it. So we paid the $ 20 to get into the bar and stayed to wrath the fight since we paid. It was extremely hot and crowded. The service was slow because the bartenders were staring at the TV screens just like everyone else. I was finally able to order a glass of overpriced Pinot Noir at the bar. I wanted food but by the time I got the chance to order anything(20 minutes later) I had talked myself out it. MOSTIMPORTANTLY: IFYOUDECIDETODINEHEREUSECASH!!! I paid with my card and tipped in cash. I guess the bartender didn’t think my 20% was generous enough because my bank statement showed a 20% tip was added to my card without my knowledge. I called and the hostess told me they were too busy to get a manager for me and she would have someone to return my call. 2 days laters I call again and speak with the manager and he was really nonchalant about it. Not a place I ever want to give my money to again. Dining in the midst of thieves with a manager who could give a shit is really not my style. Beautiful place but I’ll just keep the memories it’s not worth going back to.

Never ever. Never ever ever again. Don’t do it. Service slow. Like slower than molasses. Entrees mediocre. Appetizer teriyaki chicken ok but anything else I’d stay away from. Just don’t. Don’t do it.

So this is my 1st time here and I enjoyed everything that I ordered! The happy hour is great from 6−8pm. It consists of a variety of drinks and small bites. Note: the bar gets crowded very quickly! My friend and I ordered the Jerk Chicken egg roll, Teriyaki lollipops, Beef slider & fries, Kale & Caesar salad w/chicken and the lamb ribs. The rum punch which is on the HH menu is great! Dani — the bartender makes great drinks. I would recommend this spot to locals and tourists alike. Great vibe & food.

My friend who lives in the area & I came for dinner a few months back as this was a new spot in the neighborhood that she wanted to try. Service was ok. Food was fine too but nothing terribly memorable. Generally nice ambiance.
