This show was fuckin awesome. We got a promotion for $ 25, sat in the second row, and really has made me a fan of live theater. Heartwarming, funny, entertaining are some words I would use to describe it. I really think the various themes are really relevant to anyone who has ever had a rough go at life, but with an uplifting tone. The actors/actresses were phenomenal in all the various characters they portrayed.

I kid you not, you will love this show. From the get go you can’t help but root for the nice guy loser character played by co writers David Rossmer and Steve Rosen. Yes they both play the main character yet one the old Josh and one the new. You can tell these guys know how to work the crowd as they have had much success on the NY scene doing improv shows. The music and lyrics are both funny and heartfelt telling the story of this nice guy who just can’t seem to get a break. The cast is quite talented as they change roles, change instruments and keep your attention in this witty and fast moving show. Brilliantly directed by Tony award winning Ted Sperling this is a must see off Broadway romp for anyone. Great date show, and great for married folks too, as we all can identify with Josh. And you don’t even have to be Jewish.

I saw this show two years ago when it did a two week run and I’m SO happy to see they are doing it again. It’s hilarious! The music is all original(written specifically with Neil Diamond in mind) and really catchy. I feel like everyone can relate with the characters and even the story. It’s about a nice guy who just can’t seem to catch a break… but the something happens that MIGHT change his luck! It really is such a clever story. It’s short and cheap too, I’d recommend it to anyone.
