The Mulberry Tree: A Therapeutic Boutique

We’ve had the most positive experience with Audrey at The Mulberry Tree. Can’t thank her enough for all the progress she’s made with my 3 year old, James (PDD, NOS).
In six months with two sessions a week James has gone from refusing to brush his teeth to tolerating a toothbrush in his mouth for about 2 minutes. Haircuts were extremely traumatic for James, but three days ago, we’ve had a shouting/​flaying about/​tear free appointment that was so successful & stress free, I could have cried with relief. James is now engaging with us, using eye contact & speech, tolerates (maybe even likes) all the family members touching & hugging him. Loves to participate in story time and occasionally will join in playing with other children. We’ve plenty of areas to work on; food, textures, sleep etc. but the insular, distant, fearful little boy Audrey first met has positively changed. I’m astonished at how quickly we’ve seen marked improvements in James. That is undoubtedly due to the effort, both inside & outside the sessions, and personally focused lesson plans Audrey provides.
The Mulberry Tree venue is small, clean and well organized. It’s a very nurturing environment with child sized stations for working on different skills. I’ve always thought it’s like going to a favorite Aunt’s house for a play.
I would recommend The Mulberry Tree without hesitation.
