After travelling to Barcelona I was craving for some Tapas so came here to try. The atmosphere is great with awesome décor. We came here for dinner and the menu was quite disappointing because I was looking for more food selections. Their food menu is only 1 page but they do have 3 pages of drinks selection. We ordered patatas bravas, chopitos, and the skirt steak. Patatas Bravas and chopitos are ok. But I would like to point out that the chopitos were not at all baby squids. Their size looked like regular squids to me. Out of the 3 dishes, the skirt steak was the best, it was juicy and flavorful, cooked just right. Their sangria is yummy too. I think this is a good place to have a few drinks and tapas but definitely not a place for a fulfilling dinner.

great place to come with your friends to share some tapas and enjoy some drinks. However I wish the menu was a little bit bigger with more selections

Came before the happy hour rush and order tapas & wine. Drinks are Pleasantly surprised with service, food & and ambiance. Ordered a sparkling rose, crispy calamari, patatas bravas, & goat cheese balls. The calamari was missing some sort of sauce, nothing amazing, but generally it was satisfying to the taste buds.

I came here for happy hour. I had the rose sangria. I really enjoyed it. It was something different. I also got the oysters since it was $ 1 each. The meat platter was ok but my friend enjoyed it a lot. I would come back here to try their other dishes.

Purchased the Pulsd deal($ 59 for $ 100 any food and drink combo) and got the cheese board, squid ink paella and Chocolate Chile Cremacatalana and a few glasses of wine. We spent about 4 hours at Barça and it was an amazing experience. My friend who has lived in Barcelona told me that this restaurant reminds her very much of the local restaurants in Barcelona. The paella came with extra mussels(never a bad thing!) Michael the host(and potentially the owner?) was friendly and fantastic but our waiter Robert(?) is the most hardworking waiter I have ever witnessed. The bus boys are attentive too. Overall amazing experience, I will return!

Fun place — good atmosphere. Plays a mix of about 50% Spanish music, 50% everything else. Hands down Geeta is the best bartender I’ve met in the city. Ask her to make the ‘off the menu Brazilian drink’ it, like all of her drinks, is simply amazing!

This place is great! We got a deal off of Pulsd which included a bottle of wine and two entrees for $ 49. Awesome deal because with that we were able to enjoy a delicious and quality bottle of wine with the Paella. My boyfriend went completely nuts for it! The service was amazing. One thing I should say is that the Paella for two takes about 45 mins so make sure you’ve got some tapas and a bottle of wine to start! We definitely had to take it slow or that bottle would have been gone before the food got to the table. Great service, great ambience. I’d definitely do it again.

I liked the vibe from this place, with its high ceilings and huge balls of light hanging down, hehe. We were also pretty much the only people in the restaurant, so for a large party of 8, it was very comfortable. Anyways, the food was unique and all, but the portions were tiny(as is true tapas style) but really pricey. We each spent $ 50 and I felt that I hardly ate anything. We had: –red and white pitchers of sangria: pretty good –white asparagus: I liked my one piece I had, haha –chorizo: enjoyed that! –croquetas: ok –patatas bravas: ‘eh potatoes –steak: just average –duck: I just ate the couple pieces of gnocchi in there I think I enjoyed other places such as Boqueria much more

Let me start off by say that the style and décor of this restaurant is BEAUTIFUL, the muriel on the wall is what really captivated me. The service was absolutely great, our server checked up on constantly, making sure we were satisfied. The wait time on the food was roughly 15 minutes. The only con I would say is that the food is really small portioned other then that my experience here was great.

4 stars for the sangria, which was spot on. The food honestly is a 3. First of all, the menu is extremely limited for a tapas restaurant. They have the highlights of tapas, which are decent. I also think it’s a bit overpriced, but not surprised since this is SOHO. This has potential to be great, I just wish they had more food. Bright side is that the portions are generous, and service was very friendly and professional.

we found this restaurant on groupons because we wanted to eat some paella! So we come in during the midst of happy hour and asked if we could just close out our happy hour tab before we started our Groupons tab. Of course, did it with no problems. But we ended up waiting almost 45 mins for our paella even after the«20 minute to cook» in which the happily comped and gave us more complimentary sangria. Then the manager came to talk to us as she saw we were unhappy with our«not up to our standard» paella and offered another 30%. This was all before groupons!!! Now talk about customer service! That’s how you show your guest that their happiness is your number one job. Just the overall service was amazing

Hard to like Barca but hard to hate too. Cool, hip place(maybe a bit too SoHo hyped) and the tapas served are very good. Problems are 1 — selection is very limited — almost to the point of thinking this is really a bar destination with food as an afterthought, and 2– wine selection equally limited but way overpriced. Example — mid afternoon visit, bottle of Tempranillo at 50 bucks(only one other 2 dollar less, others way more) and 4 selections of tapas — 120 bucks with tip. If we ordered 2 glasses of house red each would have been 15 bucks more at 14 per glass. Limited selection yet well made tapas, way overpriced narrow range wine. Much better tapas places elsewhere altho few in SoHo. Then again who expects a serious wine and food experience in SoHo. Kind of like expecting to find a serious relationship there.

It was snowing heavily outside. My friends and I were trying to find a coffee shop to warm up a little bit. We tried a couple that has good ratings on Unilocal, but they were all super crowded. We were planning to go to the greydog next door at first. But their menu seems pretty heavy on sandwiches rather than coffee/tea. I then noticed that they have daily happy hour from 4−7pm, so we decided to go for some booze that’s gonna warm us up much faster and more long-lasting. Hahah. It’s busy at all when we arrived– only two tables other than us. I really like the Rose sangria I got– fruity, floral, and sweet– if you are in the mood for some girly drinks. The half dozen raw oysters were the last half dozen they had yesterday. Fresh and tasty, but small. The fried oysters were really juicy! I like the atmosphere here and being a soccer fan without any particular preference of team, barca itself gets one point!

Went for valentines day. They had a prefix menu for $ 49 a person, which I think is a fair price for the quality of food you get. It’s a small place and it’s definitely tight quarters. It was hard to hear the waiter at times, they were blaring Disney songs, but just the music, no lyrics. It was, dare I say, a whole new world in there. Started with the hibiscus margarita which was strong, refreshing, delicious, and finished with a spicy kick. I loved this drink, it’s hands down the best marg I’ve ever had! For $ 15, I’d expect nothing less. All of the food was delicious! I had the gambas(shrimp) app to start and my bf had the mussels. Both were freaking awesome and flavorful. The gambas portion was just a tad too tiny. I got the half chicken as my main and my bf got the skirt steak. Again, both were so delicious. Id recommended both. Dessert was a sponge cake with homemade whip and black current sauce. This was good, but nothing special. The other dessert option was a chocolate«crème brûlée» type of dessert. This was outstanding! There was chili powder in the chocolate and was a perfect balance of decadence and spice. I’d eat that again. I’d love to revisit and try their everyday menu. This is def a cool place for drinks and tapas.

Pros– amazing service, awesome ambiance, great music and very cool, clean bathrooms. The chopitos(fried squid, $ 16) were really good. Cons– we ordered the paella Valenciana($ 39) and the rice was undercooked, there were literally 4 shrimp on top of the paella, not in it, and I couldn’t believe how bland it was. I added tons of lemon and it still didn’t taste like much. I would go again but certainly only to eat from the tapas menu, from the reviews, paellas are not Barça’s forte.

Great Spanish restaurant with nicely designed interiors. We ate the paella and it was really good! Everything was just perfect in it, the seafood was cooked to perfection and the taste of the paella was amazing. They make really nice cocktails too. Service is great. Not your cheapest restaurant around but worth to try and experience tapas and other Spanish delicacies.

Tried their happy hour oysters and boquerones. Am sold sold sold. Fresh and brightly flavored! I have to go back for more of their kernel one shooters too! Make reservations if you want a dinner table. Full marks for deco and the bartender too!

The décor, service and ambiance were all amazing. But the food? Not so much. My mussels were so-so and my patatas were undercooked. My friends ordered the steak and eggs for brunch and the plate was mostly just eggs and potatoes. I came here on a Pulsd deal($ 29 for 2 tapas or 1 brunch item and«unlimited» drinks). Our waitress was very nice but she closed our tab after 2 rounds of drinks. So much for«unlimited» drinks.
