The Lite Choice

I think everyone knows that Tasti D doesn’t have the best ice cream. People order it for the illusion of it being healthy. This Tasti is small (two stools) and only has 4 flavors at a time (which is OK — but there is a new self serve place across the street with at least 12 flavors and better quality ice cream/​yogurt). Sometimes though you just want Tasti D, which is what made me stop in at this place. With all the other places in the area I haven’t been here in a while. I ordered a small wafer cone with sprinkles and was shocked that it was $ 4.50 (75cents extra for the sprinkles an extra 25 cents for the wafer cone — I have never been charged extra for a wafer cone (a waffle cone yes). The price was a good dollar over what I usually pay at other tasti-​Ds. For that price I could have just stuck to my self serve pay by the ounce or gone to McD’s next store for a $ 1.19 cone, which is the best deal in town.
