This place is the BOMB! The baha verde and Mediterranean quinoa bowls are out of this world!

Guess other people were right! This place definitely had an extremely slow speed in terms of food delivery — taking into account the fact that juice/smoothie was definitely much easier to prepare. What was worse, after 80 minutes of wait, the delivery guy called me that they had the wrong store receiving my order and they were also running out of my roasted garlic broccoli. Such a chaos! So I had to resubmit my order of roasted cauliflower and had to sit patiently and wait again for my order. Ok still no food as of now. No star.

I love this place. It’s become my go to spot for healthy smoothies, juices, breakfast, and lunch! I don’t understand the negative reviews for this place. Personally, I think there’s nothing negative about the Juice Shop, except that it’s pricey. But what can you expect? You get what you pay for! You wanna eat unprocessed, non-GMO foods, then expect to pay the price… Especially with very little options around Penn Station. Their bottled coconut water is high pressure processed, which is one of the better ways to drink it, aside from straight from the coconut itself. Nothing in this place has a long shelf life, because nothing is processed. Taste is not compromised here! I have to say to say everything I’ve tried there is very tasty. I love the Apple Pie oatmeal with coconut milk… So yummy! The chicken curry kale bowl is pretty good… So is the quinoa salad that comes prepackaged. The Kale Cleanser smoothie is my favorite. I’ve also tried the Love Shack and Dr Feel Good which are also great… And the bottled juices are amazing! I kinda wish they’d expand their menu or add new items seasonally. Anyway, service is pretty fast. I really don’t see what other reviews are talking about. The staff is friendly and prepare the food fast. Happy camper here!

This is exactly the place for people who love green smoothies and fresh pressed juices. The ones in the case look good, but are quite expensive, if you’re going to invest $ 9 in a drink that is good for your health and revitalizing, do yourself a favor and make your selection from the menu, the options are better and you can add protein, hemp, flax, ginger and much more. Plus it’s made right there especially for you, plus the staff are really nice. My favorite is the Kale Cleanser, it’s so cleverly blended with green apple that you’ll crave it, I add ginger and hemp, and pretend I’m in Amsterdam at a café ;) Yes, it’s expensive, but as someone who juices at home, I can attest, fresh greens and quality ingredients cost more, and the quality here is evident in the rich vibrant color in their smoothies. Check out all the free samples at the juice counter too!

I have tried really hard to like The Juice Shop. I was excited to have a healthy juice place open up so close to work. That being said, every time I go into the store, the service is horrible! The staff is slow, not educated on the product, and plain rude. Ignoring customers is not the way to stay in business. Today was the last straw. After waiting at the counter for 10 minutes, I was finally able to place my order. My PBC acai bowl came out thicker than a sorbet without a trace of peanut butter. It tasted horrible and is not worth the money.

This review is for the service, I typically order delivery. My boss loves The Juice Shop, so I order from here A LOT. I can’t usually leave the office, so I have to order delivery. Ninety percent of the time it takes over an hour and a half for my food to arrive, 50% of the time they don’t have what I order, and many times I have called to ask where the order is and have been put on hold /hung up on while on hold /gone unanswered. They told me their delivery guy(they only have one?) usually does downtown deliveries first and then comes back uptown, which makes no sense to me considering order time and proximity. Totally disappointed in this place.

Juices are way over-priced. Smoothies are sweetened. I used to pop in about once a week for an acai bowl during lunchtime. For some reason, they took much longer to prepare than other meals and smoothies. I often saw workers leaving my order to sit, then prepping easier items ahead of my order. The last time I went into the store, they did not prepare my order at all. After 10+ minutes of waiting, I asked what happened. They did not have a record of my order, despite me ordering and paying at the cashier, 2 feet to the right. So, I gave them the order again. After fulfilling several newer orders, I finally received my acai bowl. It was made incorrectly but I sucked it up since I had already spent 23 minutes waiting. The manager apologized and offered to refund my order. When I got back to my desk, I wrote in the feedback on my receipt, that the manager said they would refund the order. Not only did I never receive a refund, but the response back was argumentative. They finally agreed to give me a $ 10STORECREDIT for the next time I shopped, not a refund for the horrible service I received(my order was also more than $ 10). I told the story and asked that the original promise be kept — you screwed up my $ 12 order then promised to refund it — how did that turn into me coming back and getting a $ 10 coupon? Eventually, customer support simply stopped responding. So Juice Shop — in order to save $ 2 you have lost my business forever. Keep making those 20 minute acai bowls and see how successful you remain.

This is my favorite juice place. I would have never stopped in but one night they were giving away free juices and my friends and I grabbed some. They were so good! We’re all hooked. No we make an effort to stop by this location or another to get juices and also their puddings are amazing. A little pricey but a really really great replacement for regular desserts. Also, the staff is always super nice.

Creative smoothie options(try the cha cha chai), juices(double dare ginger!), salads, and more. There’s only a small bar to eat and no wifi in this bustling and loud environment, so it’s best to grab and go. There are always samples on the counter that are worth a taste. Convenience is a big plus– right by Penn, MSG, and many subways.

Good place for smoothies, great place for juices. My favorites were the pink coconut water with blended in coconut meat and the carrot juice/orange juice/turmeric/ginger juice. Pretty pricey for beverages, but everything is under $ 10.

Not sure why this place does not have great reviews. Menu is quite extensive– there is truly something for everyone– and I chose the Berry Acai bowl, which was quite delicious and filling. The portion size looked deceptively small but ended up being super sufficient to hold me over until lunch. The variety of toppings tasted great and I loved the texture of the smoothie base– I like my acai bowls slightly firmer/thicker as opposed to super liquidy. One thing I will say is that the service is SO, SO slow so this is not a great option if you are on-the-go and have somewhere to be. I was the only person in store and it took almost 7 – 8 minutes for me to get my acai bowl. Another thing is no seating– it’s definitely a grab and go type of spot. Overall– would be back to try a smoothie(there are so, so many!) and another flavor of the acai bowl. I’ll have to slot extra time in because of the poor service though.

Yet another healthy option in Midtown South! I see that there are some pretty miserable reviews here, but my experiences have been overwhelmingly positive. THATSAID — the service can be quite slow. Emphasis on *can*. My past few visits, it’s been perfectly fine. Oddly enough, the smoothies seem to take longer than the kale bowls… which just makes very little sense to me. The Juice Shop is a small health food haven amongst a lot of «meh» options of 7th avenue. Juices, smoothies, acai bowls, salads, kale bowls — basically anything a health nut like me could want. Most of the offerings are fresh, but there’s also a nice little prepared food section with some pre-packed salads and sides if you don’t feel like waiting for potentially quite a while to receive your food. So, price-wise, this place is about average. I actually paid more for the shake I got here than I have for lunches, which strikes me as odd but I guess for some people a shake is a meal substitute anyway? My baby teeth have fallen out at this point in my life so I prefer to chew my food — that’s just me though. Bang for you buck rating on the kale bowls is surprisingly high — I pay around $ 10.75 for a filling, healthy lunch here whereas I can easily find myself purchasing a $ 16 salad a Fresh & Co across the street if I’m not careful. What I’ve ordered: the«Dr. Feelgood»(Kale, parsley, spinach, peach, pineapple, OJ) with protein(they only offer hemp protein) and the Tokyo Fresh Kale Bowl(Beets, broccoli, carrots, edamame, hijiki seaweed, sunflower sprouts, carrot ginger miso dressing) with both tofu and chicken, over quinoa(you get a choice of quinoa/brown rice as your base in the kale bowls). Huge fan of the Tokyo Fresh — I can’t speak for the Tokyo part, but it certainly is fresh. Tip: order the dressing on the side — they can get a little dressing happy here and douse an initially healthy bowl with an unnecessary amount of dressing. Another tip… more like note: they have SAMPLES here. Yes, FREETHINGS! My first time here, I wasn’t able to take a lunch break and was absolutely starving. So I ordered a protein shake and was pleasantly surprised to find a tray of assorted sample cups — which is how I found the Tokyo Fresh initially. So, while my shake took quite a long time to make, I got some free munchies in the meantime.

tasty & healthy dining… at a price contrary to other reviews i’ve read here my experience customer service wise couldn’t have been better — everyone was super friendly & helpful, and the wait wasn’t more than a few minutes pb&c acai bowl was awesome as was my «bounce back» juice… the $ 17 price tag for these two items was honestly the only thing that left a bad taste in my mouth so all in a nice option but a once in a while place due to cost

I waited like 30 minutes for a Peanut Butter Acai bowl. Once I got back to my office it has no effing PB inside and it’s all melted!!! I know it’s hotter than the devil’s @$$hole outside but I work across the street!!! Too annoyed to take it back!

The Pros: The food is good, healthy and not too too expensive for what it is. It’s a great spot for the area, especially considering all the other chain options in the neighborhood. The Cons: The employees are so, sooooo slow. Very slow. I’ve been to this location 3 times and they just seem to hate what they’re doing. I only get a minor acknowledgment when ordering, and this time they messed up the order. Overall: Meh. Get ready to wait while they prep your food, and also get ready to feel like you’re a burden by simply being there.

Excellent fresh juices, and quite a few different varieties made on the spot and bottled and refrigerated for same-day consumption. The juice I ordered was quite tasty, but I was most impressed with the fact that everyone who wasn’t making juice or cashing out customers had a washrag or towel in hand and all were continually cleaning every square inch of counters, ledges, door handles, etc. There was even a girl cleaning the interior windows of this small-ish juice spot in the midst of midtown at 945AM! That type of vigorous cleaning made me feel all that much more comfortable to drink the product. So, they actually have 40 different juice concoctions(plus numerous different cashew and almond milks & waters) that they make daily, and my decision was really difficult until I hit on the name and color that screamed out to me: I chose Think Tank made with carrot, apple, orange, ginger, turmeric. And I felt like a damn warrior! And for 8 bucks I should feel that way! I really like this place and that juice energized my entire being in a way that a cup of coffee could only aspire to become. I’d really like to try each and every juice on the menu that’s how good my Think Tank tasted! Would you guys like to open a shop in Cincinnati?

I was super excited that this place opened up here, as I work right upstairs and could easily grab something on my way in or stop down during the day. And I have been doing that… just grabbing one of their bottled juices and getting in and out quickly. They have a nice selection. I’ve had the«Go Getter,» which contains kale, spinach, parsley, cucumber, celery, romaine, lemon and ginger. I’ve also had the«Mind Over Matter,» which I just realized is the same as the«Go Getter» but with Fuji apple. I do kind of wish they fresh pressed the juice to order, but they’re still tasty and averagely priced. This morning I went in for a smoothie around 9:00 and had a pretty lousy experience. I ordered a «Cool It Now,» which is pineapple, fresh mint, honey, green tea, and spirulina. With about 5 people in front of me, I expected to wait. What should have been about a 10 minute wait turned into 20, because the 3 people behind the counter couldn’t seem to get it together. They were completely unorganized, and I know it all comes back to their training. They need a better system. They screwed up every single order before mine — putting in wrong ingredients, calling out the wrong name, etc. It was ridiculous. Customers who came in after me were getting their smoothies before me. Mine is delicious, but for almost $ 10, it wasn’t worth the wait. I know it’s midtown and things can get crazy, but I will stick to grabbing a bottled juice and stay away from the made-to-order items.

I’m definitely a fan… its about time that a healthy lunch option moved into the neighborhood! Rooting from a popular chain that I first experienced at the 23rd street location, I was so excited when they opened their doors up here! The food is fresh, the staff is friendly, the spot is clean(very few seats available so its more of a grab and go) and the service is somewhat timely. The salad prices are within reason… kale bowls start around $ 8 and go up with proteins($ 1 for avocado, $ 2 for chicken or tofu, $ 3 for salmon… but despite the price tag, they are extremely generous and everything is DELICIOUS. Get sauce on the side if you aren’t a heavy saucer because it can get a bit much at times. Their drink prices are a BIT outrageous(I get it, its a healthy juice spot… but $ 9 for a small 16oz cup is a BIT much…) deters me from getting a drink with my salad… but sometimes after the gym, I’ll head over here for a smoothie(also pricy but thats all I get). But the juices ARE really good and very fresh so no complaints on that. It would be awesome if they started doing some kind of «lunch hour» deal of a salad and drink combination… I would literally be here every day… but I can’t drop $ 20 each day… Welcome to Chelsea, Juice Shop! Its about time!
