Eating in this place was the worse experience in NY. I was hungry and I didn’t mind that they were a little bit rude to welcome me. I ask for a kale salad, the waitress only said«no kale salad», so I had to change my dish. The mediterranean sampler was horrible, the tabbouleh without lemon, and the other things without flavor. I did not finish my food, I asked for the check because I wanted to leave ASAP. The waiter didn’t ask about how the was food. He did not care. I did not leave a tip and he went outside yelling at me because of the tip, saying that the quality of food was not his problem because he did not cook. Really???

I come in and buy lunch from here all the time. Fresh food, many vegetarian options and GREAT salads! The Lo cal salad, veggie chili and veggie burger are AMAZING! Tip: go there directly to pick up your food, it is MUCH cheaper then eating there and they often place you on hold 3 — 5 times when trying to take your order over the phone which is very annoying. I no longer call my orders in because of that.

The spinach burger in a whole wheat pita is delicious however I found out today that it is deep fried in a low fat vegetable oil. This is a little upsetting because I thought it was a healthy option but the deep frying certainly takes away from that! It is also expensive for a veggie burger totaling $ 13 – 14 with tax(not including tip).

Waited 5 minutes before anyone came up to us and even offered water. We had to ask for a server to come and take our order. I ordered a simple omelette. They forgot the cheese. My friend’s soup AND wrap came before my food. The manager seemed pretty nice and offered to replace my omelette with my original order but by that time I was starving and decided to keep my tasteless, dry $ 12 omelette

I come to this restaurant weekly and it is absolutely fantastic. The interior is well lit and always clean. Their menu offers a wide variety of vegetarian, kosher meals that are always prepared with fresh ingredients. The customer service is beyond great as I am always treated like family and my requests attended to. I normally order a pasta dish or a sandwich wrap, but I highly recommend their soups as well, especially the split pea and tomato barley soups. The prices are very reasonable and the food is of great quality.

Everything is fresh. I had lentil soup and my all time favorite… a small cup of American glacé… vanilla & coffee!

Their Avocado wrap is very good and filling. It is big enough for two meals.

I stumbled along this place walking down 57th street. They call themselves a health and overall the food is quite fresh and healthy. Although the prices are a little high they are reasonable somewhat for being in midtown Manhattan on 57th St. Be prepared to pay cash as they say they do not except credit cards. The other problem I have is that they will sometimes use another menu for Sundays and holidays which is substantially more than the regular priced menu. Overall the food is normally freshen good and the service is adequate. Deliveries in general are quite slow. Would recommend and go back.

Small hole in the wall restaurant with good food and service. Reasonably priced too.

The food is ok, I like there tuna melt sandwiches, shakes and soups. Most of the time it’s fresh. Good assortment, open late, staff pretty nice, do not use delivery, could take years! They have 2 menus so be careful, the holiday menu will kill u with prices! Overall pretty good for kosher food on 57 St., would go back!

Amazing food and fast service! One of my favorite restaurants! The waiters always make sure you have everything you need and are very sweet. The food is so fresh and delicious! Afternoons tend to be busy with the lunch rush but it depends on the day. My whole family has been coming here for years and we love it!

I am extremely pissed off with this place. I placed an order at 3pm and just received it at 4pm. I called to complain it was late at 3:30. The guy on the phone had an attitude and then when the delivery guy got there they charged me $ 5.75 extra for the delivery man’s bus fare to deliver the food. They are situated at 35 west 57th street and I am at 555 west 57th street. This delivery should have taken 15 minutes max and there is no reason why they could not have took a bike or walked! Mind you the delivery menu says«Free Delivery.» Are you serious? My order which was priced at $ 11.92 wound up costing $ 19.75 with the tip! Right now I am furious in regards to the poor customer service I received. I feel like walking over there in person and making an in person complaint!

The for here was pretty good but nothing to write home about. I know the place has been around forever but that doesn’t mean the décor has to let everyone know that. The interior reminded me of an UWS diner and not in the best of ways. I certainly was not a fan of the waiter who tried to explain that he couldn’t take a credit card but after us explaining we do not have cash he changed his story to «Well sometimes the machine doesn’t work. I can try, but sometimes it doesn’t work if it’s less than $ 50.» Like, what? My friend and I both have blond hair but do we seriously look that dumb? I’m really not sure what that was about and though the food was good I don’t see myself coming back.

This used to be my go to place in Midtown NYC before I started eating at more Halal spots. Why? because its Kosher !!! Its a lil pricey for the portions but the Smoked Salmon Salad Sandwich is great The Restaurant is narrow not as tight as some I have been in but don’t expect a whole lot of room from your neighbor but hey it is in NY right !!!

Do not eat here. Ordered quesadilla with sour cream on the side, ate half way through only to find mold on the sour cream. Waitress said sorry and offered New sour cream, but I lost appetite. No compensation offered only coffee ice cream which also was bad.

I like healthy food, but they were rude and took forever to deliver. I think that their portions are great, though. Their simple salad has something added and I can’t put my finger on it, but it’s like the carrots are more fragrant? They have smoothies, which are delicious and their falafels are probably my favorite item on the menu.

I discovered this rest during my stay at the Parker Meridien. How unique! A health bar serving kosher(kasrut) food! My breakfast(oatmeal with milk & bananas — or– berries with honey) was excellent and affordable($ 6.95). The rest also serves low-fat yogourt and sandwich/salad combos for $ 7.95. Healthy & affordable eating options in midtown are a rare find and this is one I recommend.

I’d give this place a * * * rating earning higher marks simply because it is KOSHER so it’s ability to accommodate the faithful Jewish is great. The service is okay as is the food. Nothing awe inspiring, it’s simply a good place for non-Orthodox Jewish and others to commingle and share a meal with something(or nearly everything) for everyone. The day I went, I did order a simple Belgian Waffle, but they were out(I guess of the fresh batter). I’d probably never come here without a person who needs a Kosher meal, since I’m not Kosher and can go anywhere. But, if I needed a Kosher venue, this is as good of a place as any to go to.

We stopped in here for a quick lunch before continuing on with some sightseeing. The décor might be a bit off putting. It is dated, narrow and the restrooms have seen better days. But there seemed to be a lot of regulars coming there which is usually a good sign. The food on the other hand was quite enjoyable. A great range of healthy and healthier options to suit most tastes I would think(most options are vegetarian or involve fish or eggs). I had a falafel and humus wrap and it really hit the spot. My friend had the falafel pita and she liked hers as well. The service was quick and decently friendly for the most part. The prices were good too. It was a great place to stop, recharge but not feel like you ate too heavy of a meal. Did it change my life? No. But it was a tasty lunch experience.
