I have only positive, happy customer comments about this place and the wonderful people that work at Feather Place. I got there to show quite often. They always great you with a smile and go over and beyond to help you in selecting the right products.

These were the absolute nicest people you can work with! They were very patient in showing me all my options. The next day, as I miscalculated my needs — as I went to buy more, and of course the street was closed off. No foot traffic at all. They gathered options for me and ran to meet me on the street. With NO hint of snarky NY attitude at all! I tried to go to other stores and they all told me they buy from The Feather Place and mark it up so could not give me the same pricing. Pretty much a no brainer! I am one step away from faking projects just to go spend time there.

Just left here and I cant say enough about this place. Tim was sooo Helpful in getting the pieces i needed for my interpretation for a Vegas showgirl Peacock. He even stopped me from buying more because it thought it might be too much… I cant wait to see my vision play out for the halloween party. I hope I need another reason to go there soon. So refreshing to have awesome customer service and genuine niceness and not after «the Sale»

I’ve been all over NYC trying to find feathers for my DIY birdcage veil, and have only been able to find things already in trimmings or ridiculously expensive.
As soon as I heard of The Feather Place I went straight there. The employee was very helpful, especially once I told her what I was working on and an idea of what I was looking for.
I had looked online before going in so I had a general idea of what I wanted and she directed me right to the spot and pulled a bunch of feathers out of the packages so I would know what I was working with.
And the prices were FANTASTIC! I got exactly what I was looking for and paid less than $ 3! A bride on a budget loves that!

WOW. Don’t even bother making the mistake of price checking at nearby places. With only 10 min left to make it to The Feather Place I did run into a few places on the block to compare and basically they had NOTHING on TFP.
If you need feathers for anything… come here. Best prices, best selection and really nice staff. Expect more homemade headdresses from me soon.

If I were a drag queen and needed to deck myself out in hot sexy plumage, I’d go straight to The Feather Place. Their showroom makes it easy to view many things, and their extensive website means you can browse in the comfort of your pajamas. Yes, they are totally geared toward wholesale, but Elsie (salesperson) was awesome to us. Once you get past her brusque speaking manner, you realize that not only is she super knowledgeable about her product and stock, but also extremely helpful. She spent a good amount of time showing us various types of feathers, but when she discovered that I only needed a smallish quantity of various feathers, she ended up just giving us samples. And for that, I sing the praises of The Feather Place!
