I love that the big windows let in a lot of light. It’s on 10th Ave, so it’s quieter than the central areas of midtown. Their coffee is good though it cooled down before I could finish sipping it. There was a slight draft by the windows. There’s only a few small tables and receives a pretty high turnover rate of folks taking their beverages and treats to go. There was no wifi at the time.

Good coffee but even better service! Last time I was there a very friendly barista(I think his name was Miguel?) went out of his way to say hello, ask how I was doing, and wished me a great day. All with the biggest, most sincere smile and brightest eyes I’ve seen in a long time. He certainly gave me an equally big grin the rest of my day!

Came here for a smoothy. A little over priced, however great staff, quick service. Stood here for about an hour charging my phone. They had a bunch of other stuff which looked pretty good. A lot of people come here to work. Looks relaxing and chill.

Delicious food, friendly atmosphere and the owner, Cathal is a really friendly dude! Short walk from Times Square, highly recommend if you are in the area.

Lots of open space with lots of room, seats, and tables. There’s also a decent selection of hot and iced teas, right now there are classic black, blueberry, citrus green, jasmine green, and peach black for iced teas. Nice and quiet, good for getting work done on a laptop. I got the citrus green iced tea and it was a little watery. They serve la colombe coffee here, with a big container of la colombe cold brew sitting at the order counter.

Close to the Javits for conventions. The only coffee shop around in the desolate area of 10th avenue. Good strong coffee. 3 stars for creepy staff speaking in Spanish about me because he didn’t think I could understand.

Great place to enjoy breakfast or lunch. I was greeted by a beautiful lady with an Irish accent. As I waited for my order, a guy with a Spanish accent called out my drink, I little random. I love accents so for me this was an enjoyable environment. My order a Chicken Tomato Mozzarella, and a Tropical Mango Iced Tea(if you’re feeling daring, add a splash of lemonade, it will make your day!) Second visit, there was a line from the register to the entrance of the café, I thought it would take a while to be helped, I was wrong. I was pleased to be helped within a reasonable amount of time. If you’re a fan of black iced coffee, I recommend their cold brew. Even though it’s a little more expensive, it’s worth it. Point of the story, give this Café a chance, you’ll enjoy it!

I’ve lived around the corner from this place for 2 years now and they have yet to figure their s@#$ out. Somehow they manage to make ordering/receiving coffee and sandwiches a confusing experience for everyone involved, EVERYTIME. It’s as if every day there is everyone’s first day on the job. Why do I keep going back? The sausage chive biscuit. I love that thing.

Thank god for this place! I just started working a 2 blocks away. And the only options that everyone recommend were greasy deli sandwiches. Until I found this place. Love the salads and the cold brew. The frog is cute I just wish it was a coffee bean or something more related to it. Cute place. Real coffee(Not cheap). Wifi rocks

Not worth any stars or points. Somehow the staff think this overpriced excuse for a coffee house is the only game in town and its 1994. Sorry to burst your bubble, but your coffee is burnt, your staff are rude and the prices are insane. I’d rather run across to the Dunkin Donuts and be treated badly with crappy coffee for one-tenth the price. Bad service. Horrible fare. Even worse service. No stars if I could.

Had an amazon local voucher for this place and was able to get in before their closing time(6PM) on a Friday afternoon. No prices marked for the sandwiches but I got a tomato mozzarella with grilled chicken sandwich and a cold lemonade for $ 12. She asked if I wanted my sandwich toasted(I didn’t b/c I was saving it for later) but it was nice that she didn’t assume. The sandwich was pretty large so worth the price. The mozz was good and soft and the foccacia bread had herbs on it making it a nice and fragrant. There was also pesto in the sandwich. Chicken not too dry which is also how a grilled chicken gets messed up but not bad! The lemonade was a bit bitter for me but it tasted very fresh. Overall a nice neighborhood café if I worked in the area, but it’s hard for me to get to before 6pm on any other day from NJ, even if I was coming into the city for a show.

Excellent place to grab a coffee or a healthy bite to eat-and only a few blocks from Javits. A favorite hang-out with the locals and the owner us super nice. Dog friendly too!

Enjoyed lunch here twice last week, both on Tuesday and Wednesday. Was attending a tradeshow at the Jacob Javits Center and needed a nearby joint to escape to. This review will be for Tuesday’s lunch for two. I had the Kale Caesar Salad + Egg Salad. The Kale Caesar needed dressing and the woman whom took my order pointed me to a station with oil and vinegar. Obviously they did not have Caesar dressing? However, while the Kale Caesar had challenges their egg salad was perfection. Wound up mixing both salads together and enjoyed a lovely treat. With lunch I enjoyed a cold tart glass of lemonade that was textbook perfect. For Wednesday I had the egg salad again(why not? it is fantastic egg salad) and some corn/chicken soup. The soup was okay and hit the spot, the egg salad stole the show. For a simple high-quality quick lunch this joint works. I shall return.

This is a cute space! It’s convenient for those taking Bolt Bus or Megabus since it’s so nearby. I had gotten to the stop an hour early, so I went here for half an hour to stay out of the sun until it was closer to my departure time. The only downside is that the staff wasn’t really friendly and even though it was slow, they were on their phones instead of clearing tables. I bought a soda that wasn’t a twist off and they didn’t offer me a bottle opener. Luckily I had brought my own.

Good coffee and friendly staff. :) One small note. Staff should put their phones on manner mode. The dinging of texts coming in was quite distracting.

I absolutely love The Café Grind. I come here as often as I can to do some work and study. They have free wifi and perfect room temperature. My favorites are the almond latte, jasmine green tea, KALE Salad and the chicken salad. I love love love these and each is probably the best ones Ive had in the city. If you have food intolerances and are gluten free or dairy free they have a variety of super healthy snack options available. The staff is super nice too, its a great experience every time!

Really like this place. Coffee is always really good as are the snacks. I once got talking to one of the owners or managers and they were really lovely. My only complaint is that they are usually quite slow. I can get over it when the coffee is great tho

When I walked in this place looked like a five star choice. Nice music, lots of wood, warm, cozy, exposed brick, cool lighting. Wide screen TV in the wall and no sound thankfully. ESPN as well. Seating is small tables, one larger table, bar stool type counters. A good selection of teas and coffee, food and snacks. Five stars became four for the grumpy looking staff. Four stars came down to two stars when plaid cap woman started spraying window cleaner on the glass sandwich casing killing all tea, coffee and baked goods aroma. One star when handyman pulled out the mop bucket and more chemical odors forced us to move next to the door to escape the fumes. Ridiculous.

What can I say about this place besides I LOVEIT!!! I go there almost every day! The staff is very sweet and great with customers. I come in so often that they know my order and don’t even have to say anything. When I come in it usually during a non busy period, so I am helped pretty quickly. The drink stamps are the best things ever! I run through them so fast, but I love that you get a free drink so soon. Most places you have to buy 9 or 10 to get something free. By that time you forget or don’t go back! The space is cozy and very welcoming. The décor and the background music is very comforting. I wished I lived closer so that I could go more often and not just when I am at work. It is a little pricey, but it is what you can expect from a little café in Manhattan. Even though this is not related to their products, the company is socially conscious! I work at a youth shelter near the establishment and everyday they donate their leftover food to our clients. We really appreciate the donations. People can take for granted the little things.
