having had yet another underwhelming salad from a yuppie chain, I was thinking back to the best salad I’ve ever had, which was here. call it high school nostalgia, but even back then I would crave getting one of these salads during my first free period and munching on it little by little through the rest of my frees of the day(and maybe even in a couple of classes). and as a young budding vegetarian, their pizza bagels were a godsend — close, cheap, and filling. thanks for the memories(and paramount salads), Terry’s!

Terry’s is such a great convenience store! They have pretty much everything that you would need for your home. In addition, the food is amazing there! I get my breakfast there every morning and it taste better and better everyday somehow. I highly recommend Terry’s! Also, the employees are super sweet and really quick with getting your orders.

Most convenient if you’re in the park down the street or live the hood. Worst service ever, even for repeat customers. I wish I could give less than one Star. But since there are so few place to get some bare necessities in that are, this place tends to get business based on convenience alone. Otherwise they’d be out of business by now if people knew how crappy their attitude always is.

Horrible Service! Do not order from here! Strung me along that my delivery was on the way, only to drop it off at the WRONGBUILDING without calling to tell me that it had been delivered. It was only after I called to inquire about the delay that they informed me that they had indeed taken the order in the complete opposite direct. When I gave them the correct address, they had no idea where it was. It is TWOBLOCKS from their establishment. I am in utter disbelief that after making my order over two hours ago, I still have nothing to show for it. If you decide to make a delivery order from here, just know that you are throwing money away and will most likely get nothing to show for it. Unclear if they will ever deliver what I ordered.

Little deli that services the park crowd and local residents offering quality food and service. Sandwiches, salads, coffee, standard NYC deli. Service is friendly and attentive. A great location for anyone venturing to the park, stopping by Terry’s yields deli-sandwiches with good ratios of meat, healthy salads, or one of their cooked or prepared offerings. Expect $ 5-$ 8 for sandwiches and salads. Most come to $ 7.57. Worth it.

Terry’s is THE sandwich place to go if you’re a student at Stuyvesant High School. Pizza bagels are immensely popular here. The sandwiches are good too but they have definitely increased prices over the years, making me question if getting lunch here is still worth it. I haven’t been here for a while but I have fond memories of Terry’s from high school. Service is generally fast unless you go here while many students are getting lunch.

I adore Terry’s b/c it’s across the street from my house and they make awesome egg wraps. They are so fast and easy to order over the phone. They finish my order before I can even say it, they know me so well :-)…and the delivery man is so sweet and is always nice to my dog that barks at him.

I’ve only gotten two items from Terry’s in my four years in the neighborhood: their pizza bagels and their philly cheese steaks. Pizza bagels are rather cheap and are rather convenient for someone who needs to maximize the most out of their 40 minutes out to lunch(a.k.a. do their homework, or toss a disc). Since its melted cheese and tomato sauce on a bagel, it becomes filling quickly as its just a lot to chew. Their philly cheese steaks seem to go more for length than girth. Before this gets inappropriate quickly, its definitely smaller than what you’d get at subways(sandwich-wise) for the same amount of money. As for quality, I’d say its nothing spectacular, but is better than its equivalent at Subways or some other nearby delis. Stuy students love the place so expect a level of crowdedness during the lunch hours and afterschool. It’s a really convenient place to grab drinks in the summer after hours of pickups at the nearby park. Good times.

Wow. Someone wrote«a bit pricey». I couldn’t disagree more! Great, homemade quality food, well portioned and friendly service. I only wish it was a larger place so that you could dine in! Especially love their soups — much better than the«soup specialist» chains! I wish the chicken noodle was available everyday! Yum!

Tiny deli with good prices and good sandwich selection, although none of the sandwiches are vegetarian. I opted for a salad(no tofu though, bummer), which only set me back $ 6 or so. Unfortunately, no bread came with the salad. The salad was BRIMMING with toppings though, which helped keep me satisfied throughout the day. Patrons are composed mainly of Stuyvesant HS students. Boy did I feel old when I heard some kid behind me in line stressing out about AP Bio. Take it from me, dear, and just know that any Ivy League school won’t even take those credits. :) The location is perfect to take lunch to Battery Park.

The service here isn’t great, but its the only place near Stuyvesant with cheap healthy food. Lunch time is the most crowded times during the day, so packed sometimes the line goes outside. The servers aren’t too happy to help you — they just take your order and pass you your food. I only visited here for their pizza bagels and because it was close to my school. Other than that, I would have never came.

LOVE this place! Always friendly, fast and fresh! what more could you want in a neighborhood deli? They always keep the place clean and are always willing to assist. They have a large number of delicious combination sandwiches that are fairly priced and their salads are made fresh in house. The chicken salad has huge chunks of chicken breast and is to die for! They also carry an unimaginable amount of grocery items for such a small store! Anything you ask for they have it! I noticed they have started stocking up on more gourmet items as well. I definitely recommend stopping in if you are in the neighborhood! They also deliver!

Clean, cute, and a staple for Stuyvesant High School kids and teachers. This little bodega gets CROWDED during lunch periods and after school. Get a pizza bagel: tomato sauce and melty cheese on a hot plain bagel. They are consumed religiously by students. I myself have no idea how many«toasted everything bagel with scallion cream cheese and small peppermint tea, please“es I got here. Bagels are on the smaller side, though. It’s a little pricey but unbeatable in convenience if you don’t feel like crossing the West Side Highway and walking down Chambers just to get a snack to carry back back to the park.

A bit pricey for certain things, but it is a neighborhood staple! LOVE the #11 sandwich — chicken salad with bacon and provolone. Always go on my way to the park.

While a tad bit pricy, the sandwhiches available from this place make up for it. I used to go here for lunch during high school, and sit right in the park practically connected to it and enjoy the delicious food, and I suggest you do the same. The chicken salad has huge chunks of chicken, not just a big mayonaisse salad with bits of chicken. The tuna, turkey, really everything is delcious. A hot chicken parm sandwhich is another popular item. Get a sandwich, some chips and a soda, and youll spend about 6 bucks and get a veery satisfying lunch.
