This store with 2 entrances is chock-full of knick-knacks right off Abingdon Square; great spot to drop in.

This is a sweet little shop where everything sold appears to have been carefully chosen for sale. They offer jewelry, case goods, messenger bags, cards, gifts, and other items in a broom-closet sized space, but everything has a nice interesting vibe and the owner’s aesthetic. Interesting pieces of jewelry for sale, even inspired umbrellas! Lovely little card section.

Just the best neighborhood gem! Always found perfect gifts there; and always happy to receive gifts from there(hint hint lol)

I used to live just down the street from Teich… it’s a gem! And it’s full of gems. Love the place… they always stock unique products from hard-to-find or undiscovered local designers making it a great place for both personal shopping and finding great gifts. One of the more well curated boutique collections around town. It’s very thoughtful. Highly recommended! Best, Mickey

I visited this store today and the selection was fairly good for such a small place. I particularly like their ethos, and it’s obvious that everything they sell is selected with care. Also, the woman working there was very pleasant.

Loved this cute store that has two entrances! I was on my way to SOHO when I found this place, and it seems that I entered from the back. The store has a really good vibe flowing, and the things they carry are random yet very stylish and fun to look at. Great place to find a gift for anyone — boyfriend, girlfriend, siblings, parents, kids, your boss, your pet, literally anyone! The female staff working there was very energetic, friendly, and was even suggesting that a customer tries another store nearby to find what he was looking for because TEICH no longer carried it. I didn’t end up buying anything on my first visit, but would definitely consider going back when I need to find a gift for someone.

Really cute little shop with a surprising volume of great gift ideas. Local artists are supported here and everything is unique and charming. My fiancé bought his groomsmen gifts here– some really lovely vintage NY map cuff links. What a great find!

Wandered into this store during a lazy meander through Manhattan. It was vaguely on the way to the High Line, so we went through it, instead of around the corner. The store is very nicely kept, with lots of cute knick knacks and functionally adorable pieces, like wallets and pillows. I was a fan of the round lockets located at the back of the store. There were plenty of curious jewelry pieces. This is definitely a great place to get someone a more unique gift.

This is a really well curated store that features local, eco, and sustainable goods that are well designed. I wandered by on my way to meet my husband for lunch and came back with him to purchase a hat. My husband ended up getting a pair of socks and a scarf as well. The prices are reasonable and the owners seem good about giving little discounts here and there! They’re also really friendly :) This is a great place to get gifts, cards, and accessories.

I happened to be by the area after finishing dinner at Soy Café on Jane St. Somehow I(serendipitously) wandered into Teich. This little store has all sorts of things for anyone between the ages of 1 and 99. Since I happened to be looking for a gift for a male friend, this store hit the spot! I ended up buying a pair of socks for him(ozone brand) and a boxed set of oatmeal soap(with a vintage take to it– very cute). I had to hold myself back from buying a mustard yellow mens wallet and also a hoodie for a friend’s son AND a tote bag for myself. The lady there(I believe she’s the owner or the wife of the designer for some of the things there) told me that the other location doesn’t have men’s accessories. I’ll be coming back for holiday and future bday presents!
